Hello from a New Member! I have been reading this site for a while. I just decieded to Join today. I should tell a little about myself. My ex wife and I adopted a son from Russia six years ago. So I am familar with the country. I recently met a woman from Rostov and will be visiting her for the first time soon. I am just a little nervous about it. So any advice would be appriciated. I have a couple of question's (if they aren't to personal).

I am curious, is your ex-wife Russian?

How old is your adopted son?

Did he come from an orphanage?

I ask because my wife and I send clothes and sweets a couple of times a year to some orphanages in Russia.

I am just a little nervous about it.

Hello again, I do not mind answering any questions. My ex wife and I met locally. She could have children and I knew a friend in the Navy with me that had adopted from Russia. I got the info from him. Before we knew it we had a six month old son from Saratov. Yes he was in an orphanage. That will be six years next month. I went to Iraq almost two years ago. My ex decieded after I came back that she wanted a divorce. That the short version of the story. I guess when I say that I am nervous about the trip, I mean that I have invested alot of time and emotions in this. I would hate to screw it up. That is I meant. Thanks again. Also Goodolboy it means alot to those of us that have been to the orphanages to know that some people care enough to do something to help out. Doc Rep
