I Need Some Advice

Been reading this for a while and I must admit, there is a lot of positive camaraderie here. I bet if we all were on a tour together we would have a lot of of fun and cover each other for scammers etc. Anyway, I just need a little advice. Im 55, in decent shape and all so I thought instead of going the "smoking hot-kova" young broad route, I would take the chickens way out and try for an attractive 40-something. I read Jims Lists and Agency Scams ( By the way, what the hell is wrong with that guy? He seems to hate all UW's and RWs but still does stuff like "date six foot strippers" etc? ) Sorry...I digress. Jim said that the best women are over 28. Ok for Jim, if he is around 40 but Im closer to 60 than I would like to think about ( 56 pretty soon) so I was thinking a 45 ish woman that I could go and visit a couple of times a year and maybe stay with for a month or two  at a time until things got sorted.( Im semi retired). I tried freepersonals.ru and one other but frankly a lot of the woman on there look like "Stalins Daughter" ( or Stalin sans mustache). Im leery as hell of some of these agencies that send out a buncha fake letters and all, so someone please tell me a reputable agency or website ( paid is ok, free is better) that I can find some decent forty-somethings that dont look like basketballs with ears? I can find plenty of that here in the "Land of the Big Px". Thanks in advance Guys!

Interesting question and take on your situation. Keep in mind there are smoking hot-kovas aplenty in the 45ish range and beyond. Personally, I find something extremely sexy and interesting with an attractive mature woman. As I understand it with the free sites prepare for much disappointment and a lot of writing and waiting. I never signed up for those so I am no judge. I also understand they are fraught with scammers.

From your description it does sound as if you could use the services of Elena's Models. There are many older interesting smoking hot-kovas and they do it appears make a good effort to keep those with nefarious intentions off and to a minimum. It also allows you to move at your own pace without the bombardments for buying services the other agencies seem to insist is important. I found EMs ladies to be sincere, receptive and eager for your contact. It has been a couple of years since I used EM but if IRC the cost was something like $100 bucks for 6 months and 50 contacts. A bargain really when compared to some of the less than reputable agencies out there. There are or were a few honest agencies out there but they seem to come and go more frequently than the dishonest ones and I can't remember them. Maybe some of the other members here will.

Via Freepersonals I met a couple of magnificent RW over 40.  Became engaged to one.  You must write maybe 20-30 women at FP to find one solid prospect.

I also used Elena's Models and found them very reputable.  I found a solid prospect in every 3rd-4th "wink" (or EOI, expression of interest).

The other members can add their favorite places for searching.

Do not seach for just 10s.  Write the 9s and 10s, but also write the 7s and 8s.  If marriage is your objective, you do want someone with whom life is a joy.  Rather than blond hair and long legs, that depends more on communication, compatibility, goals, values, etc.

Definitely check out Elena's Models (currently runs $150 for 6 months).  My ratio of solid prospects there was about 3 or 4 contacts to 1.

Free sites will always be fraught with scammers, but there can be some good ladies there, too.  My ratio at flirt.com.ua was about 8 to 1 for solid prospects.

After a quick search for 40-something ladies on both sites, I doubt you'll have to worry about many Stalin stand-ins

I met my wife through ICQ and before that dated quite a few RW I met through Russian dating sites like www.missingheart.ru. Before that I used agencies and freeps. None of these mediums stand out as the best method, but used in conjunction they're great resources.

My advice would be to diversify so that you're exposed to the greatest # of single women as possible.

I'll go along with everyone in regards to EM. I'm on it now and there are some very good looking ladies in the age range you are looking for. Right now I am on a six month 50 contact contract but am somewhere in the 100 contact range. I questioned them about this and they responded "Forget about the number of contacts right now." Maybe the economy has something to do with it.

Keep in mind also that the photos don't always show the reality.  There are some extremely attractive women who aren't photogenic.  I don't think you're "going the chickens way out" by looking for a woman in her 40's.  It sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders.  Some of the most beautiful women I have ever met were in their mid to late 40's. Sandra Bullock is 44.

I have to say that it is rare that a photo conveys an accurate impression of the real person and writing only scratches the surface.  If you are semi-retired, I will recommend that you just travel to one or two cities covered by the Angelika Network of agencies.  I used them extensively and they saved me a great deal of time and money in the overall.  I was expecially impressed with the agency in Odessa (Adam and Eva).  But I ended up marrying a woman from Dnipropetrovsk whom I met through "5-star Introductions".  I found it better to utilize the agency website directly rather than the general Angelika sites.   The individual agencies are listed on this page:

Kraft: Nothing wrong with any advice posted above, however I've long held the view that too many guys place way too much importance on the trustworthiness of the given website. The moment you do that, you've dropped your first line of defence. The only one you can fully trust is you.

Basketballs with ears? Yep, I hear you but worry not, mother Russia has her fair share also. The agencies and a good many Russians would have you believe butts wider than 9"s are peculiar to the west. I think the west has a much higher percentage but by no means exclusivity.

I recently been looking at Freepersonal.ru and found a couple of ladies that used to be on EM. Very attractive and well educated in the 40s. I have personally communicated with others (write,write...) anyways several well educated and cute girls in the 40s so... (yes! I have gotten the Stalin daughter also!)
I have used EM and I can say that all the ladies are very solid on response...

KraftSport5034: About AFA Socials. I have never heard of a single person who had anything good to say about them.

Most of this is not rocket science.  There are a number of web sights that you can find serious women to meet.

Steps

1. Understand that there is no magic bullet to this process, it will take time and money to marry the one, if you are not prepared for this do not start.

2. Write some women until you find the one you connect with, or write many in the same city to organize meetings.

3. Plan your trip, if visiting many , plan the date of the trip before you start writing, if your game plan is to visit one, plan the trip after you find her fairly quickly after you find her. 

      3.A. If writing one woman, have a 2nd plan when in the FSU if things do not work out with her, You will know with in 2 days if things feel write or not, move on. There is no use in spending time with the wrong woman in the FSU, it will only be wasting both your times.

4. People here can give you a lot of very good advise on getting to and from the FSU along with people on the ground in the FSU to help you.

With the exception of Jacks tour, I have not heard of anyone succeeding with a tour. (btw where has jack been lately?) So I do not believe anyone here would say take the AFA tour.
