That's an extraordinarily offensive thing to say, from a variety of perspectives. But when you begin a relationship like this, I'm hardly surprised:

Anybody who mistakens my ex as anything but an offensive diggerbrain and my marriage as anything other than a money burning fandango really needs an extraordinary education.

GoUSA, I see a lot of very different men here on RWD.  Some seem very similar to me and some seem as different as two people can be both in their ideas, actions, goals and personality.   

RW are much the same.  They really were not made with cookie cutters.   Your wife spent money like water, mine watches every drop of water we use to make sure none is wasted.  Some may be out to get every penny without putting out a lick of effort, others work hard to do their share in making the marriage successful. 

It seems to me that your purpose in being here is not to learn how to succeed with a RW but rather to warn others away from disaster and that is a good and noble purpose.   Not all men and likely most will not experience what you did with your RW. 

I hope you have more success with whatever woman you hook up with next but I do think despite the noble purpose you see in your mission that you evaluate your own self and reach the point where you are able to seek love and happiness and to give to the relationship without worrying what she may want to take from it.   Lots of women, Russian and American just want a happy life and are not out to screw their mate.
