Amazing post! Thanks you all for the excellent insights.
I wished we all would make fundamental decisions in our lives based on a thorough analysis of risk/reward and pro's vs. con's, etc.,  but we won't (at least us Latinos  ;D )
I know (hell if I know ) it would make a lot more sense for this FSU's affair while I was living in Scandinavia (trust me if you think AW are bad you have to experience the horrible attitude of viking girls toward marriage) than now living in third world country where I still can upgrade my dating options BUT once you drink from that fountain you just simply can't give up to try to drink from there again, and again.... and again :P

I'm sure there are other reasons you would be better off staying home and dating locally, but here are my top 10 reasons why you should think long and hard before you waste your time and money.

Is there a third side to this thing?
For instance, the focus on RWD is [primarily] on marrying a RW and bring them back to America.
Maybe we have it backwards.
The way demographics are devolving in America and the associated social ills, a man who had the means and the language skills to emigrate to a FSU country, like say Estonia, could just set up over there and find a nice lady to date, then see what happens.

It's certainly possible. But, not many are in a position to do it.

It's what I did and I haven't looked back. I can say that moving here is not what many think in terms of lifestyle, but you do have to have a certain amount of things going on in your favor and a certain type of mindset/attitude.

I knew no one, spoke no Russian and had no job and i've been here over 7 years now. Some of the best years of my life without a doubt. никогда не знаете что может случится.

I have an English degree and my daydream is to teach English over there. My hat's off to you, sir, for being bold and making things happen.

If I were single and didn't mind living in a big city and the cold weather my choice would probably be Moscow, or maybe St. Pete -( it is truly a gorgeous city) out of any large city in the world. But... I am married and enjoy warm Florida weather where it's sunny 99% of the time and summer all year around

What's stopping you from making it a reality?

If your are truly happy with what you're currently doing and your circumstances then why change? But if your not, then why not change? You only get one crack at life and you're only a by-product of the choices you make.

I can think of worse places to be than a single man in Moscow. Don't believe me, just ask Ed  ;D .
