The problem with CC is they are requiring you to pay the high fee in order to meet a lady and not allowing you too meet her without doing it though their agents and using the services of their agents. A $100 fee to meet a lady is the highest meeting rate that I am aware of. As I've already posted a $15-$30 fee is reasonable to cover the cost of the translation and it is the agency that has to worry about the legal fines and not client.

I think the $100 fee is I'll bet they also have to pay the lady for the meeting.   :o

I spent a lot of time with CC last year.  They are a "mixed bag."  I'm convinced that lots of letters are handled
"in house" and do not actually get to the girl.  But in all fairness, I have been in their offices in Kharkov and another Zhitomir, and they have a steady influx of real girls coming to pick up and answer letters.  I have also chatted with several girls in  CC offices and got their email and followed up with dates.

I have also looked through their data base and arranged to meet girls cold-turkey for a small fee.  I know from my experience that good girls are in bad agencies, and it's not their fault.  I also got scammed by a girl from a good agency (the owner posts here frequently).  So it's not an all or nothing proposition.
The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.  michelangelo

I agree. CC, WC, BC, FC or which ever branch (web site) you use from this group, they are definitley a mixed bag. My grip with these guys is this; They should try to be a full-service agency and help couples find their best matches, and put some of those big dollars us guys pour into their agency, to better use. I have a lot of complaints with this group of agencies. For one, the translators seem to pick their favorite girls and guys, and try to act as matchmakers, when they have no such training that qualifies them to be anything but translators. I have a good story of how I almost didn't meet the current girl of my dreams because of these guys. We met inspite of this group, and things have been working out so far. Thanks to a translator from this bunch, it almost didn't happen. Buyer Beware.....

The above link is for those who thought KhersonGirls might be a good alternative and none scamming site, but sadly if you read through this you'll see there is some truth to the statement there is no honor amongst thieves.  As his site calls out other sites to be scammers.

Hmm, another disgruntled customer.

Hmm, another disgruntled customer.

Apparently. And with a LONG memory. Note that his was a necro-post - responding to a posted message from nearly 6 years ago. The link over to AFA's RW Forum leads to posts dating to 2004. Ancient history. The only relatively recent post is nearly 18 months old from a person who never used the services.

Any time a new member arrives to cast aspersions, it is a safe bet there is an 'agenda' in play and one should look VERY suspiciously at the veracity of the allegations being made.

Dan, that became very clear to me when I saw the date of the original post.

I don't know, but it seems not so much based on my VERY infrequent visits. I think AFA established it as one of dozens/hundreds/thousands of sites intended solely to direct traffic to their services. If you look through a few posts you will see some from "ken" - whom I will bet is Ken Agee (one of the owners of AFA) and from John Adams (do not recall the moniker he uses there - another AFA owner).
