The site is pretty functional and works pretty well.

Is it reliable? Is there any scam allert on it?

ConfidentialConnections is a rather interesting agency apparently headquarted in New York, and also apparently with operations in several Ukrainian cities.

When I registered with them, I received letters from several women each month. That's as far as it went: I never heard from anyone that really piqued my interest. I have read comments on various discussion lists that some men listed uncommon statistics in their profile -- that they were three feet tall and/or weighed 400 pounds -- and still received letters.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with this agency. I spent alot of $$ with them and wrote to two "women". My friend Jack of the First Dream tours warned me that he read reports that they were a shady outfit and of course I did not believe him.  But I continued writing to them and - when I decided to go to Ukraine for Jack's tour - found that both women were phony.

One suddenly disappeared when she heard I was coming to her city to meet her, the other was a professional dater who I had written (and received) about 30 letter from. She had no idea who I was, she was the woman in the site pictures, but had never written on of the letters (or had read any of my letters).  

Maybe they are completely legit and I had a unique set of experiences, but just be careful. Try to get her address and phone number so you can make your own contact.

CC was founded by Steven Salvesen from New York. He came first to Kharkov back in 1998 (I think) through Ben Olivares and PSI Loveyou International. I did not have the agency them and was helping Ben.
From the beginning Steve was acting a bit strange, he did not meet any girls, he was touring around Kharkov, asking many questions. Then he visited Kharkov 2 or 3 times in 1999, became a porn star here. He was buying whores for 2-3 days, visited all possible strip joints. He lived only in KHARKOV hotel and got very bad reputation there, all prostitutes knew him...
Eventually in the beginning of year 2000, he came too me and offered to open an office here. He said that his office will deal mostly with night-time activites. I did not want to be a pimp and I said this to him. Then he said that I will deal only with marriage-minded people and he will find another person for other things. I agreed. I gave him our webdesigner, introduced him to the director of KHARKOV hotel (where he opened an office), taught him how to open a business here in Ukraine, used my discount card to purchase all the office equipment etc etc...
At last, he asked me to give him Natasha as a office manager (this girl was working for me through the whole 1999). He was paying her fixed salary and I should be getting the commission.
And they started forgetting me... did not call, did not write. From some girls I got information that Natasha and Steve are spreading bull****, etc etc.. Right now I don't know if they have customers or not, do they still make sex tours or they improved... Right now Natasha is in Moscow with her sick mother and business is run by her husband Victor.
I think if they try to keep a good reputation and avoid stupid Steve's ideas - they can give VERY good service, they have everything for this...But money comes from Steve and they do what he wants.!

This agency is mostly scam. I have a false account on there site that not even a ugly lady would reply to. My description said not to email me unless you are a scammer and this account is only to test if scammers are using this service.  The picture I used was a cartoon of a dwarf.

I get 5-6 letters a week from ladies who said they read my profile and want to get to know me better.

I've also spoke to some of the ladies on there site listed in Kherson and they had no ideal there profiles where on this site eventhough I got letters from them. 

It appears that the site is design to send out letters to all of it members with false letters.

This is an agency that I would avoid.

I have actually been in this CC Kharkov office...there are some real girls but this operation is very shady and the highest prices in town as well. I dated one of the girls and in the end she was revealed to be a scammer.

She remained on the site becasue she was a top 100 and a cash cow. No matter the proof I showed after almost a year and multiple examples of the scam....

Steve also owns the Kharkov strip club...

My opinion is that at best this operation is an high priced escort service if you visit there...and if you only write....well you even have to pay to remove a little black strip to see those lying eyes....photos.

There are less contraversial agencies in Kharkov...although personally at this point I wouldnt trust any of them....

I had long trusted a local Kharkov agency....I showed him where one of his engaged girls was still listed and with new listings at other agencies... she was continuing to hook up ....shes been engaged for two years now...he knows this and ignores it. Maybe the man in the engagement knows it too and is involved ....a new kind of money making scam...I dont say at all that this agency is involved in a scam but the owner is aware and ignores it...so is he really being honest ...is he operating a scam fighting agency?

I dont think so.... I would avoid CC like the plague....if you go there they will charge you 50 bucks to set up a date...maybe more now....that was two years ago.

A good point was mention in this is post. It is agency owners and  soft/hard porn.   It is my opinon that the two should never  be mixed.   If you are dealing with an agency owner that also  has a soft/hard porn site, strip joint or escort service.  There  is a high chance that the owners motivation is going to be money and  not marriages.  

You will be surprise how many agencies are dirrectly connected to the  escort and porn industry.  It is sometimes smart to look at the  agency links pages and see if there is a dirrect connection between the  agency and a porn site.

Thet should spend their time fixing the agency insted of trying to negate the real problems they are creating there...

If they want to run a legit agency.....then act and behave as a legit agency.....

Hey one guy can be a bitcher and be unable to be satisified....but when you hear shaky operation by most who actually use them....well....fix your agency ....stop making up personalties to argue your case....

I don't think his email address will tell you anything - and there are quite a few people who just don't want to divulge their emails (for any number of legitimate reasons).

Ok, here is my point of view on CC. I'm using their service since 3  months now and planning to do a trip there in March. As my trip is for  business purpose, risk is limited. As I get a company in one Ukrainian  town where they have a branch, and I notice this in one letter, I guess  they will play fair.

I have noticed several things:

- they use standard marketing / mailing strategies to handle their operations
I guess when a girl registers on the web site, she is mailing  automatically men in one given range of age without knowing in fact to  whom exactly she is writing. Most of all mails I receive are from girls  recently added.

- one of the girl I was corresponding with tells me she  was not  interested to meet me, so i guess this is a sign that they are not only  looking for money.

- i get several issues with them : two mails coming from two differents  girls with the same message .... It seems that the translator is adding  some "content" to motivate an answer from the man when the girl is  answering by phone to the mail.

- Among all the girls I was writing to, one seems really interested by  me (and this is shared), so I have a lot wishes for my next travel.

So I believe CC is definitely money hungry, average prices are 100  times the real price when you know that a guy with a PHD is paid  6-8$USD/hour and when you read their pricing, there are two worlds ....

They have some marketing strategy more common with porn dating site,  but it seems that you can find real honest girls there looking for a  new life and a true relationship.

CC???  Doubtless,  a man could meet a nice lady and marry her and I am sure a few men have.  More have just kept spending and spending until they finally get it.  Like they get the picture of the operation.

The front guy in the US is Steve in NYC.  The main man in Ukraine is Victor,  out of the Kharkov branch,  he runs the puppet show.  And the other 11 branches throughout Ukraine.  All the branches follow the same shady biz model and everything goes through Kharkov....the very heart of this evil empire.  And my does it grow.

They boast a first rate website which is very shopper friendly and user easy with multi-language capability and more eye candy than any man should see in one sitting.  Once they get your email address you will be bombarded weekly with supposed letters from various women.  Don't worry,  even if your profile lists you as 2 feet tall and 300 lbs--- the spam will keep coming....women wanting to know you.  While a few letters might be genuine,  the majority are churned out at their spam factory.  Some men have arrived after their 6 month writing campaign and the woman won't even know who he is.

Lotta money here.  Heres the drill.  The chump who gave his email address to be a member begins to receive canned letters one at a time.  Soon the dribble becomes a torrent.  Most are churned out by the terps in the back office.  In the letter the woman is interested in having a "correspondence" with the guy and of course he gets to pay.  The guy says yes or no and gets out his card and starts paying if yes.  Then he starts writing away.  Soon,  he finds more girls to write to and he begins liking some of the spam letters he keeps getting.  This,  in volume is a constant $ stream.  Pays for the electric and much more.

This is a growing empire which sucks in more suckers worldwide than PT Barnum could have dreamed of.  This is the Walmart of Ukrainian agencies which is not shy about over-charging the fools.  There are no bargins here.  But,  you can be sure many of the girls have no idea of what is going on.

On the scenic side be sure to check out their strip club and I've heard they run a very confidential escort service.  It's a kinda one-stop-shopping agency.

You would be better off using a better agency.

Thanks for the advise. By the way, as I'm corresponding now to only one  girl (she is not in their top 100), and she seems to be honest (no red  flag within my GCG / scammer)check  list :
- we have just 5 years of age differencies
- she has a son
- she doesn't ask me money at no times
- we have exchanged around  90 mails in two months  (45 each)  and no mail appears to be forged and we have real discussions.
- the whole process from our first contact to a possible move to canada  will take around one year in the nest case, I guess if someone is  looking to move abroad, she will prefer to take the fastlane ...

So wait and see .. I have one software company in Ukraine since last year, so this will be not my last travel there ...

If this one is not successful, I will open my own agency
