  Thanks for the advice.  That is basically what I did in the first round.  Spoke to many and slowly whittled them down. oops.

If you were just setting a travel, gathering a pool of women, with a good support, making a lot of preparation you would never have such headaches, about scammers, prodaters, does she love me enough? Why she don't answer? Is this number for real? Does she party?  .... and so on.

 Dude. Just take a trip there. You say your the logical and analytical type and I think your also the kind of guy who wants results when doing something. Toss all that baggage in the trash. You are headed for very illogical place and adventure.
 
   If I had to do this all over again I would just take a trip and enjoy the vacation. If you have any game at all women are not hard to meet. Pick a city, any city. Hire an  interpreter or guide to keep you out of trouble and see the sites. Any interpreter worth anything will know someone who would go out with you. Even if nothing comes from the date it will be an excellent experience to learn about the babes. Then again you might get lucky.

 From what I read this girl really isn't interested in you. Is she a scammer? Who knows. Who cares. There was never anything there.

He is correct about Viber.  Viber has the same video link, with less crap, than Skype does.  I use it all of the time.

As someone who has been using SKYPE - for longer than he would like to admit - I'm running a Beta version on Win 8.1 with a built-in translator - I'm VERY interested in trying out any possible new comer... 

There's plenty of people using SKYPE who don't want / need the games/ emoticons that so entice my daughters !

I am looking at an android smart phone running not quite the latest 'flavour' of the OS and the latest version of Viber (non-Beta) - please tell me where I can make a video call on Viber ( or Whatsapp) ?

I know there is a desktop version of Viber - with video capabilities...I've not found anyone using it to play with it ..

If you can point this 'ol git' as to how to find Viber video for a smart phone - I'll happily eat 'crow / humble pie' ...

Have to say SKYPE make it more obvious they HAVE such capabilities and judging by the link I posted's comment section - all is not rosy in the video dept of Viber..

Am I the only person to HATE how GSM or 3/4G calls 'kill' viber calls and that  - in the UK, anyway - the Viber calls seem to drop on a timed basis  ?

Hello again friends.  I hope everyone is doing well.
   I have a question for anyone that has experience (good or bad) with the "Pro-Daters".  Can you give me any tips on their M.O.?  I know this obviously has to be something of a long con since they are trying to get you over there.  How long do they normally (if anyone knows) stick it out before giving up and moving to another mark?  What other signs has anyone seen with these people?  Any and all information is helpful.  Thanks in advance!

and can't tell if someone is lying to you.

The short-con avoidance guide. 
1. Make your own arrangements for your apartment, travel, guides etc.
2. If she asks you to go shopping take her to the grocery store to help you find, Milk (which is more difficult
than you might think) and toilet paper, water etc.
3. Otherwise don't go shopping.
4. If a FSUW is romantically interested in you. You will KNOW it. If you don't KNOW it then she doesn't. Dump
her and move on.
5. Do not visit/date girls with zero English.
6. Read 1-5 again

To be more precise . . . do not agree to meet with girls who cannot carry on a basic conversation without an interpreter.

I met once with a  woman who brought along her teenage son.
The son and I had a nice time talking about sports, etc.
But it was the worst date ever with the woman.

I was very careful after that to try to insure it never happened again.
Usually in last message I would casually ask:  "Are you planning to bring someone with you ?"
If I got a 'yes', I found a way to cancel the meeting.
