The last I looked the website was gone and as far as I know the FirstDream tours are history.   I think with Jack gone I would suggest that anyone avoids a tour.  Jack had the only one worth participating in.

In case you were unaware, Jack Bragg is deceased. Unless technology has made some real impressive advances in the last few months it's not likely your find him on FirstDream or anywhere else

I am very sorry for the loss of his life.  No, I wasn't aware as I haven't been here since last summer when I had my Italian gf.   

I was looking for his website and then put "Jack Bragg First Dream" in the google and came up with 'Scam' thing!!!

Unfortunately it is true. One would think that the absence of Jack and FirstDream might create a vacuum for some other but, none has made themselves known. Google or look up Mark Davis. He was starting a tour company, don't know how it's worked out for him though

It's bound to have happened but I can't think of a single success story from a tour.

'Any' tour.  There is one in Colombia, called 'Latin-Wife.com'   According to trip reports over the 'sister' site, there are many happily married men who have found women from the site I mentioned, and also some men have yet found their women.

But, it is not the same as the 'tour' you mentioned.  It can be only 1 man or 2 men visiting the same 3-day weekends, meeting at least 15 women.   It costs slightly under $1,500 for 3 days including:  airport transfer, luxury accomodation, interpreter services, soft drinks.   Jamie, the owner works hard to make sure the men get their ladies, so on.   Jamie is a 1st class services.   Unlike most of the tour we have come across.


But as for FSU Tour, I do not know of anyone

There are lots of tours but Jack did his a little differently.  He did it differently enough that it was far superior to what the other tour agencies were doing.   There still are tours by Aweb, Mark, Davis and a hand full of others.  I think with Jack gone someone would be wise to skip tours.  If they were dead set on doing a tour then I would suggest Mark Davis.   I have done three big agency tours and one with Jack and there is no comparison. 


Dave, there have been a handful of guys who popped up in one of the forums who had found success with Jack.  I do think Jack had a respectable success rate but far from 100%.  Some of the guys on my tour are married now but not through the tour they took with Jack.

I was referring to a reputable tour. I don't consider A-web/HRB reputable. I've never been on a tour and I couldn't imagine myself doing one even before I found my wife. Just isn't my bag although, I known of many who could benefit or wouldn't go otherwise. I had some communication with Mark Davis several years ago before he started his service. He seemed a nice enough and earnest fellow. I expect he was providing an honest service. Seems I read where some had problems and complained about it and also, Mark and his wife split the sheets. Don't know if it's true though

I pretty much agree.   Mark seems like someone honest (at least as much as anyone in the industry) and if someone was dead set for a tour he is the one I would suggest.  AFA has done a lot of tours but I think someone is wasting their time and money.   I did my 3 tours with European Connections which had a similar set up to AFA.  At the time they seemed great but knowing what I know now and learned after they are a total waste.  Jack's tour was totally different in the way he did them and they would have been worthwhile, particularly for a newbie who had little travel experience.   


I think if someone stumbles across RWD they can learn enough to have a good chance of success and should not consider a tour.

Friends of ours here met whilst he was on an organised tour of some sort - I don't know with who and I am beginning to have doubts about the durability of the marriage.

I met Mark Davis in person the one time he came to Denver. 

My view is, if you are dead set on a tour, he is more expensive but he does try to make it a higher quality experience; whether that will directly translate into what you are looking for, I don't know.
