. I am Russian, so that's what I can say. The word "the" hero "is often used as a compliment to a man if he had done something important, or put a lot of effort to achieve the goal. This word can also be used as sarcasm, if a man did something stupid. Moreover, the word" hero "in agliyskom sound very in tune with Russian word "her." this is a milder Russian analogue of a curse, denoting the male sexual organ. in any case, the word "her" - is a curse and not used in intelligent people and society.
