Hey all...Here's a new "twist" - Am sure most of you have received "phishing" type mails from CHASE or eBay or SunTrust etc - where the lead off page "looks real" - but when asked to enter your personal info (for whatever "security reason" outlined in the letter was) it then redirects you to the Phisher's home page - and then that is how they collect your personal data - Well, in that same vein, over the past 2 months, I've received 5 emails now from "Galinka" - inviting me to view her page and correspond - Well the 1st time I hit the link, I didn't really pay attention to the referring link, cuz it sent me to (what I thought) was Confidential Connections home site - and sure enough, there is "Galinka" - But since I'm not a paying customer - and has been over 3 years since I've used their services (don't use them!!) - I couldn't figure out why this gal was contacting me "Offline"??? - So I started examining the "return address" she sent from - They're all BOGUS... All were from men and addresses for companies in the FSU - One was from a BMW dealer in Moscow LOL!!:PAnyway, on my 1st attempt, when I wasn't paying any attention, cuz my "auto-login" feature "filled in the blanks" and so I logged in - but the screen then changed away from Confidential Connections - and then I saw the REAL URL - and realized I'd been duped - So I immediately changed my username and password - and since I have a "zero balance" - figure there's nothing they can do (plus the CC on file is expired now)... But just wanted to give ya'll a "heads-up" that this is a new scam... and to beware..FWIW - I then went to CC's website to get an email contact address to write the folks in NYC about the repeated scam letters I've been getting - but couldn't locate one - Only the NYC phone # and to be honest, I don't hold this agency in very high regards so decided to just chuck it... But I *DO* look out for my "fellow members" here... Hence me posting this...Below is the latest letter I received (1 day ago) - and below that, is the "header info" (for you techy guys that like to do IP tracing):brightidea:... I'm not in the mood to do CC any favors.... but taking a Phisher/Scammer out of action, now I'm ALL for that..Cheers and good luck! (Be safe!)-Killer :crackthewhip:

Ave!
(This is not my name??? - What's this mean?)I want to start my first letter from a question: "Is it possible to be happy without LOVE?"
I think that you will agree with me if the answer will be "NO WAY". Love is the most beautiful and exciting thing
that may happen between man and woman! It inspires us only for doing positive things towards each other.
One very famous writer said: "The beauty will rescue the world" i agree with his words but still i would add :
" LOVE and Beauty will rescure the world".
I hope you agree with me that Love is a big notion.
There's love to God, to Mother, to a child to the country where you were born, and there's love that joins a man
and woman for all their life. That is the LOVE i'm looking for! And i'm seeking for the man who is also eager to have
this life long adventure full of surprises and new experience we can share together! Will you join me for this trip?
I do realise that it should be very difficult to say "Yes" from the first letter having no idea about me.
That's why i just offer to get to know each other better though correspondence that will help us to reveal many things
about each other whether we mach perfectly or not. In addition you can look at my pictures and read some info about me here
http://k1DcgQTciWc.i-am-waiting4love.com/I hope you'll like what you see and read there.
Well closing my first letter to you i just want to thank you for reading it and i really hope that you'll share
my point of view on what i said above. I do really hope that you'll answer me soon.
Best regards.....
Galinka
