quick question, is there someone here who speak russian who can tell me the difference between :
я соскучилась, я скучаю ,same verb, one past one present ? or different meaning ?

The second one can mean "I'm bored here" but they both also mean I miss you or I'm missing you. This is according to my personal translator.  ;D

Exactly. And the first example is the first person feminine past tense,
a female saying, "I missed you."

я соскучилась

I am bored, I got bored. OR: I missed you, I am missing you. Depending on the context.

я скучаю

I am missing you, I miss you. I feel bored. Etc.

Again, the context determines the right translation. It is very seldom when you can unambiguously translate a single phrase out of the context. Sometimes it does not even make sense to try to translate. So always provide the part of the text where your phrase is. Any professional translator would tell you that.
