I was today looking at a website that was referenced by Bruno, this is one such - a website full of interesting and useful information, all, seemingly, with a single purpose, to obscure that reality that their computer based system offers a mere 15 different profile types. The system they promote is valid and worthwhile, but its application is close to charlatanry and the innocent reader, such as Bruno simply does not have the tools to distinguish the good from the bad. 

Very simple to understand Andrew... they sell a product... they are a business... if you keep it complex, owner from other business will not have the knowledge to use it to select some candidat for a function... They simplify the tool, so much people can use it and they can sell it more...

If you have google the name of 'William Moulton Marston', you have certainly see that more of 50% of link what about sell his method... 40% over comic book... and the rest over his real biographic and work...

Like in say in my previous post, only professional psy can use tool make by a other professional psy... some intelectual baggage is missing by mister everybody for understand it fully...

Now, if we come back to the MOB business, several owner are business men or amateur like me... in the time of my great father, each little village was with a "marrieuse"... a woman who was specialised in forming couple... some agency say that they are matchmaking agency... i am really curious to see what method they use for realise the match... MOB business is a business where psychologue have a place... but maybe MOB business have no interest in so system... a happy customer who find the right woman don't use again the service... misluck lead customer to spend more money on the quest :?

It is usually apparent when people use the internet as a source of fast information without processing the information into knowledge and thence understanding, many modern students do the same thing, it shows in their work, it shows in your posts in this thread and others. I provided a useful book reference for you to read, give it a go. There are of course many others, but that one is seminal and available.

Andrew, i find these subject interesting but i have not the material time to study it deeply... i am already try to keep me update with informatica, something who change everyday... in reality, my informatic study from university have no more value if i don't update my knowledge...

And you have right over internet... the problem is the overflow of information and no tools for see what is valid or not... but if you know the right place, internet can be a wonder... when i have start my book over medical plant, i have work in collaboration with the botinacal university of Gent ( and make some free work )... and they have give me the internet link to clinic test realised by a californian university with medical plant... and these link, you cannot find it by Google ( not indexed part of the site of university ).

And really, don't worry too much... because of you, i know a little more over these method... i have already saved some URL... so, you have participate in the rising of my personal knowledge... you cannot imagine what i have learn because these forum in the last year... and not only over RW but over several subject...

People change over time. Andrewfin tells us the amount of change happens within certain parameters.

Frankly I think that's psycho-babble.  According to everything I've ever read, (and that's a lot) a person's personality is pretty much fixed by age 14.  They either become mentally and socially stable by that time, or they do not.  They are able to be mentally fixed on wealth, gaining wealth, or even stealing wealth at a very early age.  Many of the best minds on the subject say that criminals are born, not made.

IMHO true 'unconditional' love is very very rare, maybe even utopic when relationships are concerned.. something I have only experienced first hand with puppies and kids under 3. We are taught from ground up to do the things we do in life based on conditions. From 'eat your spinach or go to bed' in childhood to 'treat me right and I'll give you some' when dating; 'take care of this problem and we'll talk about a raise'; 'prove you can support me and I'll marry you'; believe in this or that or you will go to hell... all very conditional or?

I'd say those couples that are fully aware of the conditions their relationships are based upon and can learn to accept them will be the survivors. The rest are still wearing love-blinders.
