If you think it's bad now, wait till you get married.  ;D I always thought I was relatively sheik with a decent fashion sense. Apparently I was always around the "nice Ukrainian folk" mentioned earlier in the thread that never bother to tell me, I actually didn't.

I sometimes feel like a schoolboy having to pass inspection before I walk out of the door some mornings. It's not as bad as it sounds but, she does insist I look my best before leaving.

Ah well...  perhaps it goes back to those differing and initially silent perceptions between men and women. Something like:

Man: "I've found the perfect woman for me"
Woman: "Hey, now I can work with this one!"

A marginal consideration on current female footwear trends: its appears that long-pointed shoes have finally gone out of fashion :clapping: , in favour of somewhat snub-nosed shoes :-\ .

She's wearing shoes?!?!?!?!

Well, I had another great day today with the UW I met earlier in the week. Showing good potential, only time will tell if that potential will be realised.  :)

But on a darker note. I witnessed this evening the first trouble in all my visits here. A UM/RM were arguing with a UW/RW, pretty heated argument. Eventually the guy lost it, and hit the woman in the stomach. She was on the floor, he and her were still shouting. Next minute all hell broke out and the guy and woman were fighting (physically) and the guy was not holding back. To look at him, in his mind she was a guy. This was not happening in some bar, but on the main street full of people. It was pretty full on. What were other people doing, a couple of younger guys got their phones out to film it. Some just looked on and carried on walking (Which happens anywhere, its not a Ukrainian thing), some laughed. Others were shouting. But one guy, who was very well built shouted something, and the guy just stopped in his tracks. The big guy said something to him and the guy walked off. The woman was abit bloody and battered, but she lived. Police soon arrived, spoke to the big guy, then one went off and got the the guy that was fighting. Soon dragged him back, then some other Police arrived, kind of meaner looking and dragged him away. It kind of reminded me of a Friday night in the UK. Did I intervene, like hell I did. I ain't into playing the hero only to become the casualty.

Hey Sandro,

I looked all over your website but I could not find Denise Milani in your double dealers or triple dealers section.  Did I miss her somehow or are you perhaps mistaken that you found somebody using her photos??  I think she has top notch lawyers keeping photo shopped photos of her off the net but its probably impossible when they are located in Russia.

Great story Handycam.  I'm happy a Russian guy intervened and the police got the guy.  I think it's correct from the advice of the other thread that as a foreigner we simply must be especially careful.  I probably would have yelled at him and distracted him as I am very good at that.  Then somebody else could have pulled the girl to safety, but he would not catch me unless I wanted him to.  Glad to hear that there were some people who called the police and that they responded in a timely manner.  The problem with the other situation on the other thread if you've read it and I would think that you would have, is that the guy probably had an armed bodyguard and he felt safe that he would get away with it because he had his "roof" of political protection.

I have had a quick glance at the other thread.

The police were not far away, so I not think they were called. Sevastopol is full of Police aswell as Military Personnel, for obvious reasons.

Do you have enough time to spend more with your lady friend??  Hope it pans out for you.  That's the ultimate goal, I would think.  Any more photos??

Because she's not one yet, to my current knowledge. To be included in my Triple Dealers' list, a FSUW MOB+hooker must be using a model's photos.

Yes, although you MIGHT have been distracted by other details ;D .

Have any of the rest of you thought of the absurdity of what men are interested in seeing?

That is to say:  Men actually have something physical to look at in their shorts, but no one is interested in seeing it.

On the other hand, men are extremely interested in looking at what is in women's panties, but in actuality there is really nothing to be seen.

Strange creatures we humans are.

In a similar vein:  Women are capable of achieving much repeated sexual pleasure, but they aren't highly interested in doing such.  Men are not capable, yet they have high desire.  Strange evolution.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

yes,
I was just noting the exact camera angle /position
of both handycams, and my own , photo..
 :)

There is a road (that you can take  on towards Alupka)
that has a scenic overlook and small cafe,,
my photo is from there, on july 6(?) 2010.

Fairly certian handycams taken there as well,
and almost exactly a year later..

Yep, we had the last 2 days together  :)  Just got back from an evening together. Loves taking my photo. Like I had said before, I feel there is good potential, but time will tell what happens. Already talked about my next visit.

There are lots of photos, about 230 in total. Just starting to pack ready for a very early dart to the airport. As usual time has passed too quickly.

Will write more when I get back, sometime within the week, after I seen what work has saved for my return.

It would be great if you could post a photo of you and your girlfriend together, or one just of your girlfriend if she's okay with that.

PS.  Did you see the link I posted for a clothing company which carried the "fat face" brand of T-shirts??  I will be posting a photo of one of my favorite printed T-shirts just for fun (by a company called "the imaginary foundation").

Why do people ask this???  It's strange!

Rubicon,  if you want to see Ukrainian women get on a plane...  to ask for anyone else to post photos of their love interest is just weird.

There is a thread here somewhere about men posting women's photos online without their permission.  The people from Anti-Date were here making a valid point (IMHO) that is was disrespectful to post a woman's photo without her permission.  The result of that discussion (and other lingering disagreements) was the development of the Men's Code of Conduct: http://www.russianwomendiscussion.com/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=24

I still think these are very valid guidelines for how a man should be expected to behave when in FSU.

Another interesting point was shared in PM with me when I was on my first trip and doing my TR on the run.  Very early in my thread a member at the time advised me not to post pics of girls I was meeting because he had seen someone post a picture of their wife - and it happened to be one of his previous short-time partners.

That's not to say there is anything wrong with a woman having dated someone before meeting her future husband, but the member rightfully pointed out her privacy should not be damaged by a future partner seeing an old photo with someone else.

"Oh yeah man, I dated your wife and she was a firecracker.  Man she really goes off after drinking champagne hey?"

Gents,  don't post pics of ladies you meet unless you have their permission.

I'm glad it went well for you.  September is just around the corner.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

Thank you Boethius  :)

I feel the 2nd visit and meeting is a much better one for knowing if there is anything there and if any potential can be realised.

Yep September is not far away, and I'm looking forward to it. This trip and meeting went well. It was good to see friends aswell while I was there, pity I did not have time to see all of them though. Pity I did not win the Euro Lottery so I could be there alot more, hell even move there. I'm sure 161 Million pounds would make it so much easier :)

My visits there are definetly a far cry from my first visit back in 2009, which was a complete disaster in one respect, but yet one huge learning curve in the other. There is always something to learn in our mistakes and our success.

If you are someone reading this and wondering about going anywhere in Eastern Europe, my advice is just do it. Make your first visit a vacation, see the sites, you will learn more in that first visit than you will reading any forums or BS written on agency sites. As they say, whoever they are, the first step is the hardest. Use common sense, think with the head on your shoulders.
Its an opinion, don't get too crazy if you disagree :)

I'm with you on this although I am sure many photos of ladies get posted without their expressed permission, which I wouldn't lose any sleep over. I do think its wrong however when men post photos of children as per BillyB did on his thread. That just aint right.

Ah jeesh Kuna, don't go there. Permission is not needed nor required. Permission was granted de facto when the picture was taken. There is a number of things at play here, legalities, decorum, ethics, tact and a few more. Permission is off the table.

I would agree with you on not posting the pictures because of the unexpected/unforeseen fallout for the poster and the subjects but lets not rehash all the permissions crap again.

Well I am back here in Crimea, in fact been back here a couple of days already. Staying till mid October.  :D

Journey here was uneventful, got annoyed with the pompous guy working Check In at Gatwick. Arrived at Borispol and did not have to go to the very small Terminal A, now that was a relief. Straight to Terminal B for Domestic departure, much more comfortable. Luckily got an email a couple of weeks before telling me.

Had fun at Borispol flirting with a gorgeous girl while in the queue for baggage drop off, my suitcase became a resting place for her handbag. To make it even better she was on the same flight. Helped past the time with some harmless chat and flirting.

Fun part, Taxi driver got lost in Sevastopol when trying to find apartment, and the guy who met me at the airport was none the wiser. So I gave them directions........kind of made me realise I knew the place more than I realised.

Met with the girl from my last visit. It was a 50/50 whether anything would develop from my last visit. Things seem to cool between visit, although profile was deleted and other profile was used alot less. As it stands now, I can't see anything happening. I will most likely move on.

As to the climate..........well its comfortable warm, still fairly busy too, no surprise there. Off to the beach later today.
Its an opinion, don't get too crazy if you disagree :)

Sat here just relaxing in the apartment.

Things are going ok. Had a chat with some of my Ukraine friends about the lady that is 50/50. Gave some great advice. Although it seems her character is very much warm and receptive one day, cold and distant the next. I called her today after a great day yesterday and yes she was distant and not very talkative, did not seem that keen on meeting. So decided to leave the ball in her court and see what happens, ie see what contact she makes without any prompting from me. My Ukraine friends agree that she is fickle at best. In the meantime I will continue to enjoy this wonderful place of Crimea and who knows, might meet some great people.

This trip has given me time to reflect on my journey so far in this search, and maybe its at a point where I need to take a step back and review my approach, or even ask myself is this what I really want. But as they say, once you tasted the candy, you want nothing less.

Now I had a great day at a painting class. It has actually awakened an old passion of mine from many years ago. Also it was good to be the only guy in a class of about 10 UW  :)
