No, my reply was to the post that said,  "Iwould love to see posted, at the top of all of these discussion websites, that you can not order a mail order bride.  You must get on a plane and go see her"

I am not working with an agency, not ordering a mail order bride, or anything like that. Apparantly, this seems to be a scam, and looks like the scammers are going onto personal sites, saying they live in a us city, in this case Columbia SC, and when you reply, they say there was a mix up and they live in another country. Has anyone else experienced this?

But, no i am not letting go of my hard earned cash so easily. I can blow plenty of money on American women , i dont have to send it overseas! lol

Oh, I missed that part about Yahoo personals.  Yes, that's much better than an agency.  Disregard my post then please.  When it's all over you can come have a drink with me.  I'm the one on the right, without my shoe.

Lane, this is a very typical scam on Yahoo personals. The reason that she writes from a US address is that Yahoo personals will often (maybe alwayas now) delete Russian accounts (because there have been too many scammers).

Also, it's easier to attract Americans who know nothing about Russian brides and scammers (suckers) that way. I'll bet that this 'girl' is listed as being from many US cities, not just Columbia SC.

If a girl tells you there is a mix up in her location, she's lying. She knows exactly why she's listed there.
