Personally, I feel that Americans (and Russians even more) are overmedicated.  So be careful because FDA does not regulate the sale or use of testosterone supplements.  Work with a medical doctor, and be tested.  This law firm advertises much on Florida TV, and the firm is litigating against Androgel.

I had my T-levels tested two years ago and was told they are in the normal range.  Considering that testosterone declines with age, I must have exhibited some extreme behavior at times in my young days.  I did understand the meaning of "No."

Aerobic exercise has always been important to me as I played a lot of squash and tennis in my 30s and 40s and needed the endurance.  Gave them up when I turned 50 and was no longer competitive.

Yeah, I think they are showing those class action lawsuits ads nationwide.  I was talking more about the injections since from my understanding they are better.    I think it is a life time type of thing.  A lot of bodybuilding, fitness guys tend to be on it. 


When docs say we are in normal range, they typically mean we are in normal range for our age.  That is a big difference to our early 20's.  I read some stories of guys in their 30's getting on it and making a huge difference in better mood and higher focus.


I feel really good myself but would think about it as I get older if my quality of life warranted it.


I don't have much faith in the FDA.  I have seen two people die from FDA approved drugs that was later recalled.

    Almost all of them have been with the same woman for 40-50 years.   It seems that the younger classes do not have as large of a close group.
 

My observations:  the senior married men are the happiest most contented men, particularly those still with their first wife.

I have a theory on why those guys that remained married to their first wives for 40-50 years are the happiest...The theory is that they don't require much to be happy (not a rip on their spouses)...  I have felt that people like us that go to foreign lands to find women are more difficult to please.  For the most part we would not be happy with a run of the mill lady that is around our age.  That personality trait may well carry over into other aspects of life too, and we may appear to have discontent.  Frankly I can see how it could be considered a burden, as it would be nice to be able to choose from a lot of regular women around our age and be perfectly contented...but that would not work for me and perhaps many others posting on this board...

Now I gotta ask you, why would you NOT do it again if you could go back in time? 


 I wouldn't do it either if I went back in time.  The reason being that I've already done it, I'd want to change everything I've done simply because I've done it....although with kids in the equation, I wouldn't change things because of my children being born.  Maybe that is your reasoning too, but I am guessing you have different reasons, if you care to go into them. 


All that being said, I'd still recommend other people look at the option of overseas women....but only certain people...others I would tell them to stay away because they are guaranteed to screw it up royally.

TRT is pretty common down here and works quite well for many men. The clinics will usually stack it with HGH or something like igf lr3. It is a balancing act sometimes and can lead to other issues (hair loss, enlarged prostate, etc). Long term effects are still not known and if you are older it will permanently shut you down so you will need to stay on for life.

Man, for a myriad of reasons and none of which have anything to do with my darling. I firmly believe I'm lucky to have married quite possibly the very best person/woman a country like Russia has to offer.

Unlike the masses, however, I never had any problems with my hometown talent. I've dated enough foreigners here and abroad (spent 8 years prior to getting married dating Czechs, Slovaks, Hungarians, Bulgarians, Polish women etc..) and find myself always gravitating back to the usual beach Barbies of SoCal.

But having said that, it is but one reason of many. The entire experience and cause to have paved the way for me to venture in Russia is inexplicable other than to say I didn't discriminated the inclusion of meeting/dating/marrying a woman from Russia. Being single and set in life, living by the beach, too spoiled in so many ways and wanted to do things differently and exciting, I got myself venturing farther home trying to infuse a little work, challenge and excitement in my social life. I didn't even hit marriage agencies when I first started. Didn't know anything about them. I was a Virtual Tourist member and when I started researching Russia and started asking members for tips, I was led to the whole MOB scene. The rest is history.

I can still remember the day my Slovak GF Zora, Rob, his GF Eva and myself atop the Tatras mountain that glorious spring day and looking out to Poland and Ukraine and hearing her say,..beyond that is Russia; is when I thought to myself..."hhhmmm. Russian women, Red Square, KGB, etc...", curious Julius move your feet...I already made up my mind and decided to be married - it was just a question of with 'whom' and maybe the gal would be in Russia. After EE, Lebanon (Lebanese women, yawsah!) was also in my plans. Never got there.

As for friends and colleagues asking for my opinion if they should also look into the FSU upon meeting and knowing my wife, I give them a resounding 'Don't'. I tell them if they would like a relationship with woman from Russia, date one already here. There are thousands of them already in California.

Your categorization would suggest these men are underachievers.  All were high ranking executives or private business owners, and that climate is not for the meek.  All live comfortably (no money worries).   Let me change your "they don't require much to be happy" to "they know what is important and are not bothered by the unimportant."   One common ingredient: all are very affable, a real pleasure to be with. 

One should not ignore the caliber of their wives.  Each is a fine woman who stood beside and helped her man through his lifetime.  It builds a deep sense of love and commitment, and that soothes the soul of most.

I don't mean to say they are underachievers...I have quite a few friends that have around 20 year marriages and in 20 years they will probably be the same as your buddies with the 40 year marriages now...  I guess the way I phrased it sounded bad, but I do believe it to be true, at least in my buddies cases...they are happy and don't have stringent requirements to be happy....although what you said is also true...it appears they do know what is important TO THEM, and leave it at that...perhaps a large % of international wife hunters place value on different things then these guys in 45 year marriages.   Just a food for thought.

Hey Alex, that is part that makes me cringe.  The idea that you are on it forever and you also needing to take things to counteract other problems doesn't sit well.  I guess it would come down to how bad my quality of life would be.  I don't take any type of drugs besides the occasional vodka tonic with a lime.  haha


I have this one aunt that is on so many meds that they are constantly changing doses because of how they react to each other.  I think that type of situation makes me apprehensive to something like TRT and HGH.


I have a lot of family members on all sorts of drugs because they don't take care of themselves.  They could stop tomorrow if they lost weight and adopted a different lifestyle.  I guess they don't have too since the drugs can allow them to continue with the same behavior that got them into trouble.
