Good point ML...

Can you imagine the embarrassment you will experience if at a friend's BBQ, you RW wife begins to spew Putinist propaganda turd.

Quite easy.

Just think if you would like to be married to a person whose people will be the pariahs of the world for the next 10-20 years at least.
It did not stop Ochka from marrying you... >:D

AIDEN ,

you did not make it clear if you will be wanting to marry and bring this lady back to australia to live permanently or just as pass through visit on your way home to the US ?

if you are thinking of living here in australia permanently, then id advise dont get married overseas first as it will not speed up her visa here , it will only make it more difficult unless you plan to live with her in another country as a married couple for at least i year first beofre you apply for avisa to australia

and id agree with brass , sort out where you stand in regards to this conflict , then think through the implications that will have in any long term relationship you might develop with a lady from either country

remember , putin is a bastard  no doubt about it, but that does not mean all russians are automatically in with him ,or are bastards

Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
