1)  Men usually have good life insurance in case of their demise (I lost a friend who was married to a foreign girl; he had a big policy and thus left her a million);

That cannot compensate for losing the one you love :-[ But it`s not this topic, though.

But it does respond to your words "...if something happens to a man she will have to pay his debts or if he makes debts during the marriage and in case of divorce she would be responsible for the debts, too."

As far as I know the situation women are afraid not the idea men want to use them this way, but of possibility that if something happens to a man she will have to pay his debts or if he makes debts during the marriage and in case of divorce she would be responsible for the debts too.That`s reality, deaths and divorces so it makes some feel not well.

Nope. He will still be responsible for his debts after the divorce. He will likely be saddled with her debts as well but that is another issue  ;) As for not wanting to assume debt when married, all she has to do is not sign any applications for credit.

    For me the inteligence is not mesured by the universitarian degrees someone has. So, I would like an inteligent woman with or without degree. Another thing you are implying is that it seems you want a person with a title in order to get sure that he or she can win more money than the average people.

Yes it does, thanks for your information. I will transfer it to girls who were afraid, because topics about debts appear on female forums now and then. And from my experience - my uncle died and aunt has to pay his debt now, but I guess in states situation is quite different for people who make life insurance.

With large purchases in Canada, they usually offer life insurance should someone died. Let's say for example that you have a husband and a wife who buy a house. The bank will usually offer them a life insurance policy whereby if one of the two dies the house will be paid off.
