got married, went back for an interview and said, no I am not married, filled out the forms with false information.

That occured to me last night after I posted. She had to go to the embassy and present her info as a fiancee. My guess the husband told her this or that otherwise she would be denied. Were the children a failed attempt at 'anchor babies'? Those don't work usually on petitioners who submit falsified documents.

Thanks William

Bear, when I was 18 years old...I got pulled over by a State Trooper...I think for speeding....after pleading my case before him...as he handed me the ticket....He stated 'Mr B...Ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law'....I will never forget that statement ;D

Hello,

Many guys asked how I could have made wedding plans. The simple answer is this: I was ASSURED by my attorney  that the process would take a certain amount of time. In addition, my attorney screwed up by not instructing us to simultaneously gather the criminal background check information while waiting for the approval.

I am thinking about getting some of her fee back as she is completely incompetent but she is my second attorney(both idiots and liars). Or having her killed which is about the only thing which will placate me know(half LOL).

Be careful with your dark humor Marco. It can be used against you.

Should have hired me- I am just an asshole. And I am probably cheaper than the ones you paid. I sure as hell would have said what the embassy says- dont make any plans until you have the visa in hand.

If you want to try to get some fee back- you can lodge a complaint with the bar of the state in which she is licensed if she is not agreeable. Or- you can post her name on here which will at least warn others of your poor experience.

What bothers me most about BCINS is that there is no standardization.  If you live in State A and file a K-1 visa application it will take you six months, yet a guy who lives in State B files the same K-1 visa application and gets approved in three months and the next guy nine months.  You all get the drift.  Unfortunately, every step of the process goes the same way.  Plenty of people file their paperwork completely correctly every step of the way but wait more than three times the length of other people with RFE's, just look at the adjustment of status process for some of the guys who have married women from Russia.

This guy stepped in it big time and I feel sorry for him.

So does anybody on here have any experience with cancellations? We are scheduled for  October 2nd but they told her to call back for potential applicants who have cancelled their appointments in theory for their slot at an earlier date.

Re: the guy that went over seas and got married I have logged it in the memory bank as a BIG mistake.

Normally I am a very private person but I guess I should count myself lucky. Other guy's wives/fiance's notwhithstanding I am  the luckiest guy on the face of the earth. I have met a woman who is a saint like Mother Theresa but also looks like Jessica Simpson and is brilliant(a doctor) like Condaleeza Rice(but white).

In addition, I own my own business. When she has become sad due to the waiting I can travel over there to see her.

It sounds like you have a lot going for you.  Just don't blow it by trying to beat the system like that guy did.  Follow the rules, no matter how inconvenient, and you'll never have to worry about constantly looking over your shoulder.
