Anna, is this true??? I've heard this stuff from men who got this info from lady aquintances but I would like to hear it from yours, an actually lady that knows what's going on, not that I don't trust your husband. 

Billy, it may have been a local thing.  I believe there are numerous offices in the Aweb network.  I do suspect this happens a lot more that most think.

Anyway, I am not Anna's husband if that is what you meant.  Don't get me into trouble with my wife.

They wanted her to take home a bunch of cell phones with the ladies names and some information on the back of them.  Most of the ladies had husbands or boyfriends.

Thanks for posting that comment! That's the clearest, most specific, and best criticism I've read of A-Web on this forum or any other place on the web. That's so much better for me to hear than the usual vague criticism that I've been reading.

No worries.  I am glad I could help out.  Hopefully I can help out as much as possible on here.  I still have alot to learn from the members here as well.

Edited:  I think the Aweb is a crapshoot.  I am not sure all offices operate like the one here in Odessa.  Why take the risk.  You may very well find out you have had conversations with the translator instead of the real girl.  I really hate the idea of men coming here thinking they found a great girl only to find out that the girl isn't interested.  More than likely they were communicating with the translator.

Is this canned introductory letter composed by the woman herself, or is it made by Aweb? Does Aweb give an option for women at least to be the author of this letter?

Usually when a woman comes to an agency they offer her to compose an introductory letter. But sometimes women say that they have no time for it and ask the agency people to compose something, and of course they give some idea of what it should be about. So the answer to this question is yes, women are given and opportunity to compose the intro letters, but not all of them want to do that. They are mostly more interested in getting and answering letters from the guys.

Aweb is a website and it works with a lot of different agencies. I am not trying to defend Aweb, but things like that (writing letters for the women and answering the phone) usually local agencies do. Any agency can be an Aweb brunch! those people can be hones and may be dishonest. For example if one dishones agency works with 10 different websites, they will have the same not real girls on all of those web sites, and if the agency (website branch) is honest than you know that you are corresponding with real girls. The fact is that you never know it for sure unless you go there and meet with the person who wrote all those sweet letters to you. I am familiar with a lit of agencies in Nikolaev Ukraine, and believe me, I know some honest and some completely dishonest agencies, and they all are working with Aweb. I also know a lot of the web sites, and  some of them have such services as web cam chat with the lady, and even there you can find a lot of scammers. Once again: It all depends on the local branch (agency).

   Just one more question,Anna, apart from the letters, imagine that a guy after some letters travels to Rusia to meet you, outside the trips from Aweb, how does he get in contact with you? is there any kind of censorship in the letters? or for instance, I have a business travel to Moscow,kiew, etc... is it posible to meet you? or you have to fight with Aweb to reach you? do they give you the letter after some censorship or do the letters arrive directly at you?
    If the meeting is easy will mean less income for Aweb, so how honest are they in this area? and lets supose that the lady exist.

There are a lot of different ways to get in contact. Sometimes we would arrange a meeting through the letters. I know that first the guy needs to write not less than 3 letters (I think that it is minimum for Aweb) and the men just writes in his letter that he is comming to my city and that he would like to meet for a dinner. You also can discuss through the letters all the fees if you will need an interpreter. Sometimes girl can give you the address of the agency that she is in, and you can meet with her there first. the other way to arrange meeting is to call her and talk to her on the phone about it, You can call her through Aweb first and ask for her private cell phone number, so later you will be able to call her directly. On some web sites (I am not sure about Aweb) you can buy her mail address and write to her a letter that you are planning to come soon ad that you would like to meet. Don't forget to give her your email address, or some Ukrainian cell phone number that she well be able to reach you on. Also if you are sending to her a letter in mail add some pictures of you. All the letters that you write to a girl through Aweb, first get to the agency and than the girl comes to the agency to take it.
The other way to meet ladies without aweb help, is just to go to the city in Russia or Ukraine, and go directly to the agencies. There you can look through the database (girls' profiles) and choose some girls that you would be interesting in meeting with. Of course you will have to pay there too, but there you pay directly for meeting with the girls.
