Sorry, what they notarize is the signature.  Again, the letter does not need to be notarized.   Is there someone you work with that would sign it for you.  You could just leave their title blank.   They would be a Home Depot person and they really don't care much about the letter as far as I can tell.

I have heard of people writing their own letters.   Something like Mark X is emplyed by us as a piano repairman and makes $ 15,000 a year blah, blah, blah, signed Mark X

I also thought about making such statment in cover letter stating that I will be claiming on this years tax. I do not want to incriminate myself from last year. I also will have notorized. Hopefully it wil make little difference.

Personally I would not do it in a cover letter.   Your cover letter should be an simple but logical overview of the documents you have provided.    I think in the cover letter you would be drawing attention to the thing you least want to draw attention to.

In my cover letter with the I-129 I simply stated all the documents that were contained in the package and who/what they were for.

I very much appreciate the help you guys are giving me. This is more like what i came here for and was wanting to learn. Yesterday those other people started on my worthiness and whether I should even be bringing her here and it just went way off base. This is a great place to communicate i think. I appreciate everything.

Mark, nothing changes. It was that way three years ago and it will be that way three years from now. You really do need to spend the time to sort through the fat to get to the meat within these threads. there is some good and useful stuff here if you can find it. Otherwise it is pure and unadulterated BS. You really are now getting some good value from the forum but look at what you had to endure to get it? Onward, my man.
