I have a flavored bottle of samogen given as a gift to me on my 2nd trip. He showed me the distillation device that is just put on the stove and connected to the water tap.

I do belive the bottle will be sitting there for a long time, last try at drinking a shot by 3 of us, ended in 3 of us think, not again this year.

I was actually surprised to see how easy it is to make samogon. To make the "брага" (braga) you simply need water, sugar and yeast and time to let it all ferment (one mixed in the right proportions and kept at the right temperature). Some add other ingredients such as berries for the taste.  Some recipes that I saw for making braga add hops as well, though this is for drinking the braga as a homemade beer. Once the braga has fermented. you just need a tube going out of a sealed container (large metal milk containers being useful for this) that is quickly cooled (winter is good as the tube can be run through a tub filled with snow quickly cooling the alcohol and having it condense into a liquid. Five kilograms of sugar can easily produce 5 or 6 liters or samogon.

On a side note, in the late 1980s, Gorbachev tried to cut down on drinking and cut back on supply of vodka. The immediate consequence: there was a run on sugar in stores as many bought all the sugar they could to brew their own samogon.

 I prefer freepersonals, cause men from there won`t accuse they spent money on communication if you are not their ideal.
 If man wants to meet many at first trip it`s his right, but for sure there won`t be personal connection or sex - I`m not a desperate slut and I don`t know what kind of venerical diseases women before me had and knowing numbers of venerical diseases here makes me feel not well if man wants to meet many. Condoms don`t give 100% guarantee safety, if sombody doesn`t know this. I met only men who came only to me. One of them was my boyriend, another is just a friend now.

There is a financial crisis in USA, and in FSU.

Russia was less popular to begin with, I am not sure any American would be going to Russia anytime  soon.

I would think that if you write a letter to girl in Russia, you might be the only one writing from USA.

Most people on this board have already done their searching, they are not effected by any of this, one has to view their advise with the caveat that they searched in  different times.

1) yes, so finding a lifepartner should wait? what 5-10 years for the world's economy to correct itself?

4)still searching (maybe after March I won't be?). Yes it is different times but for the FSU woman there were many hardships back in the 90's as well. I think quite a few guys found the "one" during those times as well.
