Question on I-131 Application for Travel Document

To all,

Question 3, Part I - Information about you - of the Application for  Travel Document on Form I-131 (also known as Advanced Parole document)  asks for "Class of Admission."

What is a "Class of Admission"?

What information do I need to type in this "Class of Admission" field?

In my reply on this form, I wrote "K1".  This is what is used on the example form on the VisaJourney site.

If this is for the child they would be a K-2.

That's correct on both accounts.

I believe they will still be classified a K1 or K2 until their status has been officially changed. I found it a little strange while reading Visa Journey that the classification of K1 and K2 does not change after marriage.

It's correct that the status doesn't change after
marriage - the marriage being a prerequisite to
adjust that status later.

Returned home from work tonight and received all the notices from USCIS that they received our applications. I sent in the  I-131, 485, 765. Seems like that took forever as they became just a passing thought. I sent them to Chicago, but the received notices came back from  Lee's Summit, MO.  I assume they will be forwarded to my original service center?  Mine also says we will get an appointment date for Biometrics in the mail.
