Russian keyboard setup
« on: November 30, 2005, 08:45:14 AM »
Does anyone know how to setup a Russian Keyboard mapping in Windows  XP?  Evia is coming with mapping stickers to place on the keys,  but the default Russian language mapping doesn't equate to what she is  use to.  Photo attached of her keyboard.

I've done the Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Languages -> Details  and added Russian.

Thanks,

Kevin

Ah, never mind.  Finally got to view my layout with the right font  here at work and its a match...  So I guess these posts will serve  as a quick reference for others...

can also do run-->osk

this brings up the onscreen keyboard and will change layout when you select language. Think there is a slight difference between RU and Ukranian layouts.
