Any business FSU ladies around?
« on: August 30, 2009, 08:50:40 AM »
I wonder if any FSU ladies started a business after moving to your country? Can any of forum members share an experience?

I am asking because I myself am getting into a venture, and besides of all typical start-up problems I can't help to feel a sort of psycological resistance coming from inside me. I grew up in Soviet Union where any private commercial enterprise was considered illegal and morally wrong, and I - and I believe most of my compatriots - never had any business education or even simple general business knowlege, which people from "capitalistic" countries were getting since they were kids as a part of school education and from everyday experience.

Thank you  :)

My wife and I attended a Grand Opening party just last night, and were impressed with the
turnout. Having little to no experience in retail, I would suggest you contact Elena through
through the link below - I am confident she would be glad to share with you the "butterflies"
in opening up this local salon. Admittedly, she has a nice husband with a keen marketing sense
to guide her, yet in speaking briefly with her yesterday - her "leap of faith" and hopefulness
were very evident. Good luck in your venture, Fashionista.
