Mail Order Brides on CBS's C.S.I.

I just got done watching the C.S.I eposode on CBS 

During some construction excavation a large block of tar is found with a pair of women's elf shoes sticking out. There are feet in them. The detective find and identify the body of Svetlana Melton a 20 something MOB married to a controling man in his 50's. There is also another unidentified body of a young RW with her.

The widower is called to the police station for some questioning. He comes with his cowering 19 year old (she looked teenage) new Asian MOB. The woman cop asked him "What? Is white meat too tough for you?" (So how did the guy manage a new K1 when he didn't have a death or divorce certificate from his last K1 wife?) He admitts he met Svetlana in Russia "through an agency".

It turns out Svetlana has a strip of photos of her with a boyfriend in her pocket. This guy in the photos is questioned. He tells the police that Svetlana came to him begging for him to punch her in the face so she could file a false abuse charges against her husband. He hits her and she goes to the police and files the false charges.

Also it is discovered that the beauty salon where Svetlana works imports RW with work visas to be hairdressers . When that method doesn't work with the INS they bring them into the Country in suitcases. One girl died this way. She was the other body. Of course the beauty salon is really an escort service and the RW are the escorts.

The police stop by the widower's house and find the refrigerator and kitchen cabinents are chained shut. Apparently he has a fear his teenage Asian bride may put on weight.

Then there is a Russian man who tells the cops that he desposes of the bodies using tar as that is how he did it back in the FSU. He didn't do any of the killing just moping the floor of the crime scene, using some special salon sissors to remove the finger tips and burying the bodies.

Svetlana's husband admits to have killed her because she filed false charges on him.

The police lead him away in handcuffs. His teenage Asian MOB is visable upset but some big breasted AW in a lowcut top gives her a hug and tells her that everything will be OK.

Since "RatherGate" I don't tune in to CBS anymore, it's called; "vote with the remote".

However the story line you describe sounds perfectly sane and reasonable to me.  Isn't that the way we all treat our foreign brides ?  :D

 While I agee the term MOB is degrading, maybe those of us on this board can agree that within the people who understand what this is all about (finding, courting, marrying and living with a non native wife) that the use of the term MOB is just a referance to the process and not indicative of how we actually go about finding a lady.

The use of MOB is terrible.  Postal service is lousy, and shipping times are exceedingly long.  Spring for the Express Shipping, it's worth the few extra $$.

Most of foreign men REALLY ORDER brides. They write - she must be a blond, long legs, long hair, slim and etc..... They mention about MENTAL traits of woman very rarely.

I think the men who are involved in this process fall into two catagories:

Those who "buy into" the MOB hype.

Those who "use" the MOB system for introductions to women.

 

The first group of guys are the one's in trouble here.  They lean on agencies to do more than they should and go to Russia with a "pick a puppy" mentality.  When things go sideways for them (and in this group they usually do), this group blames the agency, the woman and anyone else but themselves.  This group is clueless on relationships with women and have little hope of ever finding one without the MOB system.

 

The second group has much more successes.  They use the MOB system to their advantage for introductions to RW.  They tend to take the ball and run with it from there.  This group is more experienced women and understand that the responsibility of developing a relationship (and continuing to make it work) is up to them and their partner.

I also do not like the term MOB. It degrades the woman to an object instead of a person. I would think it's more insulting to a woman than being called a prostitute.

At the rate the world is going, we will end up seeing these women being sold on EBAY.

What a cool hobby - buying women's addresses. just a waste of money, I think. Coz you can write them for free or paying $20 monthly being a member of dating site and have the opportunity to write to as many woman as you want .

up above in this thread are mentions of the 2 year girls or the "green card" ladies. i see this reference and stories of this happening on a regular basis.

the only thing i can think of, is how can this happen?  i think these are clueless men who do not know themselves, let alone the woman they marry. these men must not have the slightest clue. i think i can tell within an evening if i am with a lady more interested in getting to the usa than she is in me.
