Hello All,
I'm just another 40-something mid-life crisis guy  The way I figure it, no RW/UW could put me through more h*ll than what my home bred X could ( I brought a knife to a gun fight lol), so here I am.

I've looked over the dating sites before and am really not that interested, not that I'm certifiably blind rather just too old to be chasing rainbows. Have a handful that I have been corresponding with thus far and will go from there I guess. Self employed so am quite flexible time wise, though it would probably be easier on my sanity to visit Kiev in January! Up till now the furthest I have ventured to was Hawaii, so go easy on me
I have lurked for a couple months and there are a few of my countrymen that I would like to PM for their "experience, strength & hope", hence the need to 'bare' my soul in the open. Thank you.

First of all, toothpick to a tank battle, thats funny.  Secondly, welcome to the boards. You will find lots of very helpful info and very helpful people here of all sorts of backgrounds and experiences. If you have any questions feel free to ask.  If you don't travel a lot the Ukraine will be an interesting place to go. It will certainly be a shock if you don't speak Russian, as I don't. I've met some wonderfully kind people there, and some I'd like to throw off a bridge, but you know you meet those types everywhere. I've been in January and as someone from Minnesota originally its not all that different. Winter is winter. welcome...
