Planning a trip to Scotland. Possible?
« on: October 31, 2009, 09:18:39 AM »
My wife and I want to go to Scotland soon if it's possible for her to get a visa.
Has anyone here had success with getting a visa for their Russian wife or should we start looking elsewhere?
She does have her green card now if that would help.
Thanks for any comments.

Hey Lyndal, I seriously don't believe it would be much different than when Natasha visited Canada?
Canada and the rest of the Commonwealth share a lot of similarities.
Contact www.ukinusa.fco.gov.uk/en/visas/ on Monday :)

Dave.

I recieved it many times. But I am sorry I am not a somebody's Russian wife.
C'mon, why British visa would be more hard to get than American one?

She does have her green card now if that would help.

A valid passport will definitely help.
It's your problem if you take my posts too seriously.

I have several. Why do you think she may have problems in getting tourist visa to UK?
Most of my foreign visas I received before getting married or living in US, if that helps.

She lives in the US, but only since April. She has a Green Card as Lee08 points out.
