Just some BCINS timelines for those of you in the worst possible region to process paperwork (for those of you in other areas of the country, if you think you had to wait, look at our timeline).  We were married November, 2004.  Since then we filed our adjustment of status packet November 2004 at the New York Service center, had one I-131 approved for a trip to visit the relatives this past July and received a notice early this year (Februrary) from the BCINS that our packet was transferred to the California Service Center.  My I-131 application will be in the mail December 15, 2005 (return receipt requested, of course).  When I called the BCINS the "I-131 specialist" (I say that because the first girl transferred me to this "specialist")  says that I have to mail the application to Chicago.  By the way, the fee is now $170.0 and she even provided the mailing address for me.  One consolation is that our K-1 was approved in a little more than 5 months, but that was when we went through the Vermont service center.

Bruce, my wife's I-131 was approved (received notification yesterday) and they forgot her son just as they forgot his fingerprint notice. USCIS acknowledged the receipt of all my checks (over $1,200.00 total) and sent receipt letters for both my wife and stepson. I am thinking maybe they fouled up my stepson's address.

Got the boy's I-131 letter yesterday, all I need now is his fingerprint letter and we are good to go.

Well, we received this summer's I-131.  We mailed it in around December 15 and received approval around February 15, so approximately 60 days.

We just filed for Liliya's THIRD I-131 at the end of January and got the I-797 reciept back in approx 2 weeks. We'll let you know what the issuance timeline turns out to be.....
