Where is Donna Pedro?

Hello,
I was wondering if anybody heard from Donna Pedro.   I used  to see her on this board and on another as well.  Did she move  from Florida or Alabama?  Her profile says she is back in  Moscow.

I do hope we see no more of her.  Yes, yes, I know she seemed very bright and had a great many witticisms, but she was certainly not the type of woman that most of us are seeking.  She was in actuality the worst of the AW types sometimes talked about here, but it just so happened she was originally and mistakenly born in the FSU.  And she was not actually a very good role model for her children or even a good citizen with her complaints about wearing seat belts, her complaints about the friendliness of Americans, etc.

Albert, you're the first person who's ever had the cajones to admit that her type was why some went overseas in the first place.
It seems that others thought she was "feisty" merely because she was  Russian, and they overlooked her behavior based on where she was from.
Had she been an AW and came on a board saying what she's said,  she'd be burned at the stake.
I thought maybe things didnt work out over here, she certainly wasn't shy about telling us how unhappy she was in the US.
Did her husband move back to Moscow with her?

I heard from Donna P, (not her real name) recently, she and her husband  moved out of Ala*******bama and down to Florida where they were  enjoying life just fine. 

I don't know why she stopped posting, she didn't mention it, and I  didn't ask.  I wouldn't count her out just yet, she'll probably  show up just to make your life miserable again.  She certainly  loves to bait the hooks, and most of the guys never see the barb.

Such is life in the fast lane....

You couldn't be more wrong about someone.  I've had several  conversations with Ms. P. and the Hamster, and I know for a fact she's  a pretty nice person, she just doesn't tolerate fools too  easily.   If she got on your case on the other board at some  time or other it's probably because you posted something about  RWs,  Russia, or Russians in general she viewed as either wrong or  misleading.   She's a kinda stickler for getting that stuff right,  once she knew she could rile you, then of course, you were dead  meat.  She's also very much opposed to the one week wonder concept  where a man takes a short vacation and picks out a puppy at the pet  store, she's a woman, and as such she thinks women deserve to be  treated better than a piece of meat in a store front.

I'm not saying she's an angel or a saint, but I know for a fact she  helped more than one guy who's K-1 was in trouble.  She also gave  the board some balance, she was opposed to the nice-nice rules on the  RWG and because she was a RW she could get away with a great deal more  than any AM could, so she pushed the envelope some. That, and her, tell it like it is, attitude is what earned  her the undeserved reputation as the "bitch goddess from hell", she  would call a spade a spade without regard for political correctness.

Me too. She popped-in here a few days ago, but didn't stay long. Maybe she will come back - we'll see.

Donna Pedro sent me a pm on RWG when I asked her about a statement she had made saying I look like a college professor f---ing one of his students.

I have less of an age gap than some of the other guys with a 25 - 30 year age gaps. Mine is only 20 years.

Seems it was a left handed compliment from Donna because she thinks the men in Alabama have zero class and look like rednecks.

I was told a few guys left RWG because they could not deal with Donna. I thought she was ok. Being brutally honest is a trait you can either admire or loathe.

No, she didn't, since I never posted.  Yet anybody else who said  what she would on the other board would be banned or  edited.  
Since she's Russian, it seems she's put on pedestal....by the same guys who say not to.

Donna was the one always getting her feathers ruffled, and it shows in her posts.

And she was also opposed to the guys who made multiple trips wanting to  make sure they were making the right choice.   So either way  she was unhappy.

  Son of Clyde took her ribbing well, and he seems like a guy  with a sense of humor.  Yet there's a considerable age gap between  her  and her husband, and if anybody else said the same thing  about the hamster, she'd hit the roof.

By a strange coincidence, I spent Sunday with Donna and her family. They are living in the FLA panhandle, doing well. She is busy with her new job, and a new house--that take all of her time. We spent several hours talking about the boards--she asked about many people.

Yes, she may get on your nerves--she weilded a clue bat rather vigorously, but face it, when guys make the same mistakes over and over again, they don't need a subtle hint.:crackthewhip:

BTW-she helped TREMENDOUSLY with my (almost) K-1 mistake last year. If not for her, I would probably be posting as "Maxx Jr."

I seem to remember someone on the other board calling me an old goat, could it have been Etna? Donna has denied ever calling someone an old goat.

It's possible Etna called Barney17 a "stari kossel".  I don't  think Etna has made a post on either board since the major makeover  occured.

Yes jb I remember those words because I had them posted outside of my cubicle at work (in Cyrillic letters).

My coworkers were very cutrious as to the meaning. I became the old goat even though many others are older.

I guess he who chases very young women deserves a label.
