Russian/Ukrainian women are practically born with high heells on!

I am sure everybody who has travelled to Russia and Ukraine has not failed to notice and watched ladies in that part of the world walking around in some of the sexiest foot ware.

Makes no difference if it’s a knee high boot lined with real fur strutting through the snow and ice in the winter or a hot looking summer stiletto with laces tightly criss-crossing up a well toned ankle, Russian/Ukrainian women so easily flaunting their natural and god given femininity like this and is something that I will always enjoy looking at. I think neither should you if you ever manage to make it over there to see for yourself.

I've always thought they are more silly than sexy. Thankfully my wife came to her senses quite a while ago and gave away all her high heels to friends. Now she wears far more sensible and, IMO, just as sexy footwear that won't mess up her back and legs.

FWIW, the fact that people associate heels like this with "femininity" says more about them than the heels.

FWIW, I agree that high heels can look nice but only in the right context; watching a woman tottering around on 6 inch heels while working behind a shop counter is more silly than anything else. And you have to admit that not all women have the skill to pull off walking in them and still look elegant rather than looking like a tightrope walker struggling not to fall.

High heels (within reason regarding the actual height, I think more than 3" is pushing it) are quite attractive IMO. 
And it provides evidence of something, again IMO, that is missing with a fair amount of frequency in USA women -- femininity.  Not sure it's necessary for everyday, but I won't argue against it.

I've stated on other threads here or elsewhere that I think that a lot of men believe FSU women are more "feminine" and more "beautiful" than anywhere else entirely because the fashion tends towards the tighter, shorter, higher and more revealing. Going from your reply I guess you are one of them, is that right?

OK OK ,,,Stop fighting and enjoy what ever you like! My RW has a good selection of High Heels,boots and running shoes. I love her to wear sexy shoes and they dont stay on too long! On our trips back to her county the women were incredible. We both made comments on fashion,,,She knows I am hers but I enjoy looking at "art" as she can look too.I dont drool or say stupid stuff but it is nice to be able to look at others,comment on clothing likes/dislikes and then I can buy her something we both like.

Hi there! Yes, most of the Russian/Ukrainian women love high heels shoes/boots and nice, sometimes, sexy clothes. You all noticed that I have never heard before that men don't like when women wear high heels, most of them, even all of them, always say it is cute, it is stylish and very sexy. But, to my mind, it is not appropriate to wear them every day. Everything should be in moderation and that's why i see nothing bad about that. I for one find high heels sexy, but it does bring up a conversation I had with my fiance on our first actual "date". It was winter time and of course there was ice every where and of course she was wearing her heels and I asked her how she walked in those shoes on the ice without falling. She replied that it was part of being a woman  . She was worried about my falling  I liked her reply and that she was more concerned about me falling then herself.
Also for the record. I am sure she owns a pair of shoes that are not heels, but if she does I have never seen them

I think we've discussed this before, but I cannot find the reference. The main reason for the sexy look is that high heels cause a woman's rear calf muscles (gastrocnemius) to contract and bunch up, thereby giving her legs a more shapely form . We men LOVE female rotundities, after all .

11 years in Asia and being 5'9" tall made me forget about wearing high heels for good.      I wear them now and then to parties and such, but not everyday.   Although I have to admit that high heels do make my legs look extra good!

It was beautiful early October afternoon in Sochi, and walking down the miles of boardwalk seemed like a great idea.  The woman I was with, who I saw for a number of consecutive days, wore heels. 
I didn't know they were new. 
We're a good 2 miles from where we started and she asked to stop and sit. 
Sure. 
She had blisters the size of quarters, popped. 
I asked her why in the world she didn't say something, that she could've changed shoes, or we could have taken a short stroll. 
She acted as if it was not a big deal. 
Suffering for fashion. 

I had to FORCE her to not wear heels the next day. 
So, I like heels.  As I said before, very feminine.

I do not know , but there are equally as many women in Russia who rarely wear high heels, i wore such shoes only at work  in the office and it was not super high , average heel , comfortable and that 's about it. I have no idea how Victoria Beckham can walk in crazy shoes they often picture her wearing

I'm saying that writing someone based upon photos can be misleading (going in either a positive or negative direction). 

Prepare to be potentially surprised. 

I don't think her dress / make up could work dramatic wonders.  She genuinely was just far more attractive physically in person.

I know you are kidding JR but just for the record; it's not my place to allow or disallow. She is not a child and is free to choose (as am I) and I'm just lucky I found a woman that makes decisions that I like. I guess that's why I married her.

Actually heels do look nice but only if the lady is shapely with nice legs.
My wife looks great in heels but does not wear them all the time.
Still, heels are an awful stress on the feet and ankles. The ladies could have serious problems later on in life.
