Please, do not  me, because I have an account there.
The adress of agency said my friend. She asked maybe I want to go to try to find my man of dreams...
I decided to try. It was summer and I had a lot of free time.
I called there, they said bring pictures what you have. I took my best photos, came and they said no....we need professional! Then I found photographer, paid from my wallet for that pictures and then brough to the agency.
Few days they were checking posting...then wow my profile works! I came, began to look at men's profiles, I composed my presentation letter, and began to send. I looked for a lot of profiles...maybe like 200 or more, I sent maybe 30 letters, I was very sure that I will get reply soon. Ha ha!!!! 
I go sleep, got up early - run to computer - NO replies at all!!!!!! I'm sad!!! I know that I look great, I'm 21 and with great figure and pretty face! I though that it was mistake. I call in agency. They said - come, we will show. And what they showed, how do you think?
For sending letters: I open men who are online, then send letters to them even not looking to their profile, just look for age I interested, because it takes time, then who replies - I look if I'm interested in him or not. I made mistake with sending to members who is offline, because they will lost my letter fast.
Another way - chat. I sit near camera and send invitations to everybody. It takes like 1-3 hours - then MAYBE somebdy will reply. When man replied I look into his profile - if I like it - then I speak, if not, i say sorry dear, it was mistake or I have to go..bla bla bla...so then he do not waste my time and his money for anything.

At home I did not have fast internet. With my slow internet chat does not work and sending letters is slow. I bought new internet. I did not have a cam, but when I'm without cam I can sit in chat 4 hours and nobody replies. I bough a cam. Since june I had quiet enough replies, but communicated only with 10 men, which I liked. And only two came. And reality was not great...

Now I still on this sites, but already I do not have strong wish to find a foreigner. It's really difficult!

Maybe some agencys paid girls, but my agency did not even pay me for my internet, cam and photos. But they are so kind, they invite me to come to them in office and sit near computer as much as I want  . But I prefer to stay at home. 

I will not post here my photos and will not say name of agency, I will not say my id in this sites, I just want to share with you my expirience....

Entitlement attitude  Why do you expect agencies would cover your expences if you bring them no profit?

Some agencys cover money, which woman spends on photos.
Some agencys even has their own photographers.
And agency getting paid from all my correspondence with men
But that one in which I came was new in summer, I think, I was one of first women there.

Maybe I break illusions, but it's truth!

She tells the same story at you-- the men that came to meet her were mostly big disappointments.  But in that  case, just treat it like a bad first date and don't see them anymore.

I met my wife 4 years ago, and now we live in the US and are very happily married and have a precious baby girl :-)  Life is good.

So yes, we DO have a DREAM marriage :-)))

Depends what type of pretty.. Once i wanted to test if its really real to get hundreds of letters a day and registered a fake profile with a very pretty girls photos and very broken english, got about 400 expressions of interest and letters in 3 days, then it subsided to about 30 a day   I should not have done that, was not good for my self-esteem    I was not replying to anyone, just let the profile hang there a week, so it was all new people writing every day

I used the words "Dream-marriage" because of the topic name.  But the romantic among us need to realize that a "dream" marriage includes the realities that you will have disagreements and fights, and there will be culture shock the couple have to work through.  But the reality is that the dream marriage allows you to work through all those things and more, and the love you share will allow you to overcome the obstacles that every marriage faces.

Some agencies will tell women what to write or write the profile for the women to make it sound good. They will say the woman doesn't smoke when actually she does smoke, looking for men up to 40+ year older when 15years may be her limit, and knows little English although she knows good English so customers can pay for translation of their letters. Some agencies will write the letters for women.

Hint: people like when you actually read their profile and address their specifics.  But if it's too troublesome, you'll just have to send more letters, that's all.  The normal response rate for mass mailings is 0.5%, as I remember from my last marketing job.

And that is with some of the best "catch and hook" phrases out there. Although, with the OP's situation she does have a considerable more captive audience. Her response should have been better. I would tend to guess her profile needs work or her requirements are unrealistic. The response from my profiles (back in the day) were much better and my profile really was not that impressive.

I was trying to read and write especially for men special letter. Does not work, the same situation.
I tried to send 10 letters to one man, sometimes it helps, but usually not.

Men are open to having ladies write them but maybe the profiles you wrote to were old and the men didn't read the letters. Maybe the man is not attracted. If a man has to pay for each letter, he will only write girls he think is his favorite.

I don't know about the agency you're at but some agencies tell girls to send out as many letters as they can. A guy could get 30+ letters a day from their top models. He can't write them all but they are hoping he'd choose a few to spend his money. They agency who you think is helping you is hurting your chances for success if they use models to flood men with letters. The models may not even be looking for marriage but getting paid for their work sending letters and doing video chat.

In all honesty the website is not concerned with you. They are only concerned with making money. The money is made from the Men. Because you are not paying any money to them they have no need to send you many fake letters from Men.

When a Man joins the site. He can be 60 years old, out of shape and balding, yet on the first day he will get 50 letters from young beautiful ladies who never in a million years would become his wife.
Now while you were real, 99% of the rest of the site is completely fake.
Those ladies did not send the letter to the Man themselves. Some at the agency did or someone working for the website did. Their only motiviation behind it was MONEY and most certainly not to make a love connection.

Men receive so many letters everyday (as already discussed not real). because of this they do take to caution. While it may seem flattering at first it does not take long for flattery to turn to concern.

Also you must know that most Men cannot afford to open all letters and write every lady back. Any Man who could is a dream for these agencies.
However for a Man to open your letter then respond back to you would cost him in the range of $15.
Because of this the Men have to be selective and careful on who they write. Most Men will only write to a couple of ladies. Could you imagine how that $15 can build up if writting to 10 ladies?

I am sure there is nothing wrong with you at all. In fact the personality you have shown here already many many Men would be honored to know you. it is not you but the system you were in.
First your letter was one of many those Men received getting it lost in the crowd.
Next at a cost of $15 average to open and reply it becomes an expensive proposition to the Man and they have to be selective.

Your best bet would be to use sites that do not charge per letter. If you joined this system you will see many responses coming to you.

Yeah, I skipped all girls who smoked.  Smoking in the US is not as well accepted as it is in the FSU.

The age range of the partner is a tough decision.  Likely the best answer is perhaps up to 15 years older than you, but in your case that would be 36, and a lot of guys searching for a wife are in their 40s. Personally, I did not mind a girl who wrote "age does not matter."  But some disagree with me on that.

In the beginning of my search, I played such games by trying to slip in my phone number or email address. My favorite was to send the girl something by Western Union and add my contact info in the note section.

But in the end I switched to a strategy of just writing a couple of letters and then going to meet the girl.  You really can't gage chemistry until you meet someone, so that was best for me.  Plus, once you meet them, the agency is out of the picture.  It cost me a total of 15 dollars to meet my wife-- 3 letters at $5 each :-)

You just need her name and city to send Western Union. 

But this tip is for the guys-- if a girl asks for a gift via Western Union the man may think she is a scammer :-)))

It worked every time for me, and cut the agency out quickly.

TIP-- You might change agencies.  Many will let the man "buy" the contact info at a reasonable price.

There is a limit of PM's a new person can send. It prevents spam from flooding in everyones mailbox in case the new person's purpose is advertisement. After you have a certain amount of posts, you will have no more limit on how many PM's you can send out.

What if a person sends out 30 personalized letters, as it sounds like she did?  Would it be too much to expect at least one reply?  (a decent, nice reply; not something nasty or mean)

I've been in your shoes, Assamena.  I've sent greetings to women with comments and questions about a picture or about something in their profile, and still never got a response.  I think it happens more with women not responding to men rather than vice versa.  It might have just been dumb luck that none of the men you initially wrote didn't respond.

What to do?

Here's an idea: send the man to this site.  Tell him your user-name.  The man then makes his own profile and can either send you a PM or post something on a thread that you started.  This allows you to communicate outside of the agency and exchange all the information that you want.
