Russian name spelling

My GF has her name ( Galina) spelt as Halina on her passport. Would this be a future problem? Do I have to use the spelling as in the passport for any paperwork etc?

I am not an expert on this but I think they will allow a one letter variance on things like this.  Let's see what anyone else thinks.

Her surname is also spelt wrong, the 'o's' are spelt as 'a's. I know in Russian the o is pronounced as a soft 'a' .
