Agency profiles

The agencies /dating websites have always swiped womens profiles and contact info from each other,
this is no news.

Just recently i've noticed they swipe mens profiles as well,as mine was placed one place, but turned up in several others.
just amusing ,and saves me the trouble .. i guess.

Today i was googling my name for fun to see how easily a RW might be able to find my email, to circumvent some particularly questionable agencies methods..
and one of the top hits was  on the front page of >         http://www.marriagworld.com/

 

Now  i am not knocking this particular  website.. lol

i just found it amusing as i have no idea where they got my info (which isn't accurate) or the photo ,
as to be honest i don't recall ever using that photo in a profile anywhere! (my head tilted on my hand which i hate lol)
also shows my last visit in 2005 (so when was it put up i wonder?  I was happily married ,and certainly not have the time or habit of visiting dating sites or creating profiles)

So, digging a bit i found about 12 other profiles out there i had no idea that i  had..

I think this occurs far more frequently with women's profiles......
i just never realized the extent..

I guess the guy named AJ is supposed to be you? lol. Aren't you older than 43? It also said your last access was in Aug 29 2005 at a time you were married. Shame on you AJ!

I've found profiles of myself on the net that I never created. Those agencies are busy generating profiles in an attempt to generate business. By getting more male and female profiles listed, they give the impression that they are big, well established and a popular place for people to meet.

exactly billy.. never heard of the place, nor was i putting up any profiles at that time,   and  while  it is a photo of me..its one i cant imagin ever having put on the web..odd

i totally undertsand it, it happens, and has been going on for years, no big deal.
 i guess dint realize just  how prevelent it was ,
and i certainly dint expect that if a woman was clever and searched
my name to get my email, that some obscure dating webite would be one of the top hits. Ahead of something more substantive like my work website, or mambru for example,while those do come up as well, they are far down the list.No big deal, it's just odd.
