Another poll question. Who received the warmest welcome at RWD?

Amerikanski or Assamena?

I think it's too close to call. I cant remember the welcome I got here but I know it was better than this or I wouldve been banned  in the first 15 minutes. I've never been to Russia but I've been to Ukraine more than I can remember the past 9 years. About 10 days is the limit for me. Maybe 14 if I have befriended an American or English guy with a sense of humor. I am friends with a great Canadian guy that also goes to Kiev for his business. These are just people that I would hangout at the pub with while my wife spends time with her family. I've certainly encountered rude people there. I've certainly been asked for my papers by the police. I've had people try to scam me. I know Amerikanski sounds bitter but maybe he's just had enough. I couldnt live there.

Perhaps we should hook them up. 

Amerkanski could actually be a valuable source of information if he would drop the crusade and stick to his experiences and opinion.

And as for Assamean I did not understand the commotion. Seemed to be some jealousy involved, apart from some guys geting a wake up call.

With that being said, I have met some really nice and wonderful people in Ukraine. My father-in-law for example is great. My mother-in-law is the antiChrist. I've met some really nice servers at Obriens and Sun Duk and Golden Gate. The kids that work at McDonalds love to wait on me when I come in to order. I've also met some real a$$ hole Americans there as well. Too many for me to count as well.

Amerkanski came on here rude and crude. Indeed he could have a lot to offer here.
But, you don't come on new to a Board and insult every guy here who is happily married to wonderful FSU Women.
He could have gotten his opinion across in a much more subtle manner, that would not have offended.

I remember Olga Conroy. That was brutal the way she was attacked on RWG. Taking up for her eventually got me banned for a while a few days later. I never let up on those people who did that to that poor girl. I know months later there was no one moderating the site and I could say to them exactly what I wanted to say and it couldnt be deleted. It as great. I hope that Myke Conroy guy is either still in prison or eating out of a trash can. Hopefully he's dead for what he did to that poor unsuspecting girl.

The best thing I can do other than give you blow by blow details is refer you to google. Mike Conroy thread on the old Russian Women Forum...I just looked at the entire thread..It's on the first page of google..You might have to search olga and Mike Conroy. It's a pretty sad story. This focking guy is much older than this girl and gets her here and abuses her. She was young and naive but she certainly didnt deserve any of that she was dealt. I hope she is doing well. The poor girl deserves a break.

  Thanks Dan. The thing that got me with her posting on RWG is the Russian women that said it was all her fault. Hardly anyone had any sympathy for her. Because he was much older, it was all her fault. From everything that I have been able to understand about the case is she was a good wife and good mother. I can honestly say I hope Mr Conroy is having to toss Tyrones salad on a daily basis. Better yet I hope he dies quickly because of the tax burden he has placed on the good citizens of Oklahoma. I also hope European Connections has to pay Olga until they go broke.

Yeah, I was also one of Olga's defender, along with Maxx, but Greg did took the brunt of the assault. Her chief attackers were 2 Russian women. Both were previous members of this board too. That was nasty and they were calling Olga every dirty name women call one another.

To Olga's credit, she rose above the trenches and never threw a barb but rather she recounted life and things in the aftermath of her ordeal, life after Mike. IIRC, state aid were her only means of scant livelihood. She was juggling going to school and taking care of their child. She actually posted a pic with their kid and that baby was adorably angelic.

Anyway, those 2 RWs were nothing less than 2 hyenas tearing apart a pound of flesh the way they got on that poor girl. Strange how that thread all got started too.

Yes it was Helen and Only_I and some other useless dolt. You are right, Olga never not once lowered herself to their level. I hope she is doing well in her life. This Helen lady had like 5000 posts. Only-I was a real piece of work as well. Thankfully Dan doesnt run this ship like others who have fielded a talk forum. Does anyone know whatever happened with that case?
