The forum was sold and wasn't taken care of properly and a lot of old threads disappeared. Later I believe the forum shut down. I googled some of my old thread titles and can't find them.

For those who can't or didn't read the document Dan provided, Mike was previously convicted in 1973 of assualt to murder with malice aforethought and after he was released from prison he was convicted in 1986 for lewd molestation and lewd or indecent proposals/Acts to a child before ever meeting Olga.

He met Olga when she was 17. He applied for a fiancee visa when she turned 18 and brought her to America. In 2004 Mike raped and sodomized Olga at knife-point, tied her up, locked her in a closet, and fled with their two year old son. A jury in 2006 found Mike, age 61 at the time, guilty of all those crimes.

Olga didn't post on any other thread in that board. She, for some strange coincidence, posted on that specific thread because the conversation veered of about the saga of Mike Conroy (yes, it was one of those tired, old age gap related threads).

Then, according to Olga, at the very same time she googled information about Mike, one of the result happened to be that very thread that was being actively exchanged at the very moment. Bam, next you know she made an appearance. For a good while, everyone even tested her to make sure it was who she said she is.

Once that was proven, in comes those RWs foaming at the mouths ready and poised to drop the moral hatchet. Olga literally fell into a vipers' pit.

I think Ambach took a lot of heat from people.  Have not seen him here for awhile.

  Thanks Dan. The thing that got me with her posting on RWG is the Russian women that said it was all her fault. Hardly anyone had any sympathy for her. Because he was much older, it was all her fault. From everything that I have been able to understand about the case is she was a good wife and good mother. I can honestly say I hope Mr Conroy is having to toss Tyrones salad on a daily basis. Better yet I hope he dies quickly because of the tax burden he has placed on the good citizens of Oklahoma. I also hope European Connections has to pay Olga until they go broke.

I also hope European Connections has to pay Olga until they go broke.

I can't say that it will break my heart if EC has to pay her some money but does anyone think that in those pre IMBRA days that AFA or AWeb would not have taken his money and provided the same services.   

There have always been some who appeared on RWD periodically and got a reception that was more hot than warm.

Going back in history I belive it was Sonic who caught a lot of flack for going to his construcition site and telling his RW who had arrived 2 days earlier that he would be back in a few minutes and then left her sitting in a hot truck for 6 hours and then sent her back to Russia 3 days later.

Then there was Marina, aka Miss Sensualtiy who posted photos showing how frugal she was with clothing expenses.

Then of course one of the earliest crucifictions on RWD, Photoguy who did a K-1 for a woman he had never kissed. 

Ambach and Sonic probably deserved the reception they got even though in real life they may have not been quite the villians they were perceved to be.   The rest may have had it a little rougher than they should have but those things happen.

That's amazing that there is a Correctional Database for the American public to view Inmate photos and profiles! There'd be hell to be had if this was made public in Canuckstan.

What's really scary is when you have a kid and lookup the sex offender database (pics of offenders and home addresses) and see how many there are in your vicinity. You find out the nice guy down the street is not so nice after all. It is a real wake up call
