Visa Approved 151 days

My fiancee passed her interview today and the process entailed 151 days start to finish. I have a question for others who have had experiences with the Kiev Embassy. Should the Visa reach my fiance within two weeks? Is this sufficient time. What have others experienced? I have ticket for her on the 19th.

I've heard that once the interview is passed the visa is ready that day or the next, so it's matter of recieving the DHL package which shouldn't be more than a few days.

I'm glad to hear you've made it through the process.  I'm well over your timeframe now and playing find the paperwork with the INS.

If its not a burden, I'd suggest planning on a 3-day delay between the Interview and the main DHL office having the Visa.  E.g.  If the Interview is the 13th, expect the Visa to be at the main DHL office on the 16th.  Delivery anywhere else in that city would probably add a day or two.

In Moscow, we made plans based on the reported 2-day timing, and almost had to reschedule flights.  Only by spending the day on the phone, and talking someone into staying late, was my financee able to collect her 2 days later - after the normal close of the office.  DHL's computers only acknowledged receipt of the package around noon of the 2nd day.
