i have been asked by a few out there some tips on how to use the site.

1) when you first join you will be bombarded by 200 +emails in the space of 1 week. bascially when a new male member joins the girls are alerted that there is new member, and they will all try to get your attention. I suspect that some of the mails are autogenerated.
2) Avoid hot girls in bikinis.    I have been scammed twice by girls from the site... hot girls in bikini, and i was thinking with my penis not my head.... 300 grivnas for a taxi ride home.. hahahhaha !! i laugh now but what real honest girl would be showing half her cleavage on a marriage site.
3) USe live camera to make sure the girls are real. ask them to wave hello to you .. and check to see if they wave back.  Not all girls will have live webcam. and i have met some real girls from the site with out live webcam
4) There are scammers amongst them but there are also good girls looking for something more serious.
5) DOnt use their gift service its ridiculously overpriced. Search the net for gift and flower service.
6) they use a credit system. 500 Credits for 200 USD. 1 credit will get you one minute of chat time. now if you have live webcam going, it will cost you 2 credit per minute. a letter with an attached photos will cost 10 credits.
they have different options in terms of membership. im with the silver as i dont write much letters i would rather chat with them.  IT DOES COST A LOT, but im financially secur so i dont care.
7) i have always had prompt service from the adminstration. if you have some allegation of a girl scamming they will investigate.
8)there is always a "sugar candy girl" who ask silly questions about your opinnion on some subject. The girl is invariably hot and young but i never replied to her and she still send me mails. she is what i call the suger candy girl who makes sure that every one  is being chatted to. but in reality its a fake profile and not genuine. A GEnuine girl when a guy does not respond doesnt keep on asking silly questions. these opinions are geared at trying to make you answer them making the site more money. So dont respond to girls who ask silly questions who you havnt even chatted to.

I don't agree with all of Jims information either, but it's usually worth at least searching for information that can be found.  A quick look didn't show where they're based, but it seems like the US, with a toll-free number at least for billing, no postal address that I saw on the site.

  Thats all great Nitrous. But why go back to an agency that have women that will scam you? Why pay money to chat with young girls that get paid to pretend they like old guys?
I mean really, what do you talk about with a cam girl on one of those sites. Do you ask how is business today? Do you ask her how many old farts got horny looking at her and talking dirty to her? Those girls are like off duty strippers. Slip them a few bucks and they will talk to you. 
   I am sure there are a few good women there but why try to sift through a bunch of cam girls to find one that is honest? If its even possible that any of the cam girls are honest.
   I would bet though that Dream Marriage and Anastasia have some of the best looking women compared to free sites or pay monthly sites like Luckylovers or RussianEuro. There is a reason for that.

Having read through the replies, I find more and more interesting information.

Yes the internet has scammers, some sites have more than others, and some sites are just men writing to agency staff.

Yes there is a cost, but everyone here is a big fan of Eleanas there is a cost there .

Yes you can get the direct contact info, yes the video helps and the cost does not bother me much. There are 3 address listed on the site, I looked. US, UK and another southern Island type address tax dodge

The fact nitrous met 8 was interesting, scammed by 2 a worry, but what happened the others???

Yes I believe ladies get a cut of the money, but not a lot, but thats is my opinion of all pay sites . They are up all hours taking to men, including me, late at night. But you also find scammers on the free sites, scammers in the real world. Hell we all pay tax to our squeaky clean governments don't we????

Having read some of the posts, here buying dinner  for a lady is a scam, so IMHO I will continue to use the site as well as others until I go and find out first hand.

firstly im 34 years old, not some 50 year old fart.
1 russian and 2 ukraine trips.
Actually i should start with my trip to russia too, lady from omsk. her name was anna.i met her at dream-marriage but we communicated via skype after.
 I had booked my tickets to go . and then she starts writing to me telling me that she was sick "females region " and that she had to go to the docotors every day. Im a dentist i know about the body there is no medical condition that a doctor would want a girl to go every day. Then she tells me that one of her close friend has died. I was in moscow and made the decision not to even fly to omsk instead have fun in moscow. And thats what i did. She called me selfish over the phone, but id say i dodged a bullet.

trip number 2, Odessa.

Sveti, date went well, held hands and we got smashed and danced all night. THe guide was igor whos father was american and mother was from ukraine. it did go well, but on the first date she did not kiss.  I dont know exactly what the go is in ukraine, but in australia you kiss on the first date. regardless, she had invited me to some opening night... and when me and igor were in the taxi... for some "reason" she didnt want me to come last minute change of mind (I suspected some body was there that she didnt want me to see eg her bf ? i dont know all conjecture). Already Alarm bells start ringing. SO i decided no not for me. I will also add that the girls look good in the photos but in real life they dont look as good.
the other two were scammers that i told you guys about already.

can the admins do something about the smalls space that you give for writing and the screengoes up and down and scrolls to the start..  .. headache.. try typing in  two parahrapsh like this size and you will know what i mean.

in the morning svetei and igor had massive hang overs
MY gut feeling was she was hiding something...but we all had fun and i decided to cut it short and move on. and i moved on to the 2 scammers that i told you about.  300 grivnas for taxi ride home. But the second scammer was more polished. we held hands at dinner.. i thought it was real.. Dumbass i was... blinded by her beauty.
We were at a bar drinking a few drinks.. dancing away grinding together on the dance floor. but then all of a sudden... the taxi driver wanted to go home// ( the driver was young and wanted to party too ).. and then both the girls wanted to go home. i was like.. hang on i was enjoying myself...
got back to the girls hotel rooms. and i kissed her on the lips, and she tried to pull away..and then she darted into the hotel room.  MY gut felling was telling me somehting was wrong... i didnt sleep that night...
The hotel bill... seperate rooms. the girls took just about all the alcohol in the mini bar.
when i arrived back to australia i tried calling her.. the phone just didnt answer.... it would call out or was disconnected.  we conversed only by email. she had asked money to study english and also moeny to pay her lecturers at university.. bribe of some sort.  lesson learnt. dont go for hot girls in bikinis!!

Trip number 2 to ukriane.
Kharkov
her name was ruslana. i spent a week with her.. we went go kart riding held hands in taxi, went to aqua world. There was one time when i put my hands around her waist in a club that she didnt like it. but later that night we did kiss each other on the lips.
On the last day we spent trying to get a smoking device.. but then all of a sudden the BANKOMATS in ukraine all DEAD.  none of them worked.  i was running around different bankomats to try and get $$$ out but couldnt. and also i closed the door of the taxi and accidently hurt her on the leg as she was getting out...  she was cursing me in  russian ... i wasnt feeling too good....our last night together the candle light dinner...... just a kiss on the  lips..Im not sure how to read this girl. at the end i was ready to throw in the towel but she kissed me on the lips. it wasnt french.

  Nitrous. If a Russian woman likes you she will kiss you on the first date, no problem there. Dont ever think there is some cultural difference holding her back. Kissing on the first date there is very common. You've had three trips and I've had seven. I still have yet to meet a woman that has flat out tried to scam me like they have done to you.
  You spent a week with a girl in Kharkov and got a kiss. From what you wrote I dont think the girl is a prodater, she just wasnt into you at all.
   Try an honest agency once or some free sites. You will be pleasantly surprised.

  Sites that are really free, like free personals.ru it can be tougher to get letters answered. The girls are swamped with letters from men because it is free. Its also where the keyboard romeos hang out.
  Luckylovers, Russianeuro, Elenas models. Sites like this have a monthly fee. Gets cheaper the more months you sign up for at a time. But it does even out the male female ratio to about 1 to 1. There will still be some keyboard romeos but not nearly as bad as the free sites. I do think its worth the money for sites like these. The cost per month in the big scheme of things is jacksh1t. You get unlimited contact with anyone and all the contact info the woman is willing to give you.

All in All, I think I am doing OK, your views and comments on Dream were very helpful and I still use the free sites.

I like to chat so the private contact info is as cheap as anywhere else once you rack up a few points.

This has been done and I talk to a couple of them via Skype regularly, I may end up as a free dinner ticket, who knows.
