Mamba.ru--looking for a "sponsor" and one night stands.

I have been on Mamba.ru many times and notices a lot of very attractive women, who say they are looking for a one-night stand, at the same time they mention they are looking for a "sponsor".  does this mean what I think it means--specifically that the women essentially would like to get paid for a one night stand??

I guess sponsorship has a very different meaning in Russia.

It would be understood she would be more like a "mistress" perhaps, the lady is looking for a "sugar daddy"

She doesn't sleep with random dudes for money, she wants one specific rich guy to keep her in comfort, ie be her "sponsor". (rich friend w/ benefits)

that makes a lot more sense to me, because she says she is also looking for love, marriage, etc.  she is just being honest upfront that she wants a guy with money.  she is very educated, as well as quite beautiful.  so she has every right to look for a guy who can support her the way she wants to be supported, IMO.  and I have every right to move on to the next profile!!

Mamba is the biggest one night stand and paid sex hookup site you will find. I dont go there, because 99.99% of men there offer sex in 1st to 3rd message. Complete and vast majority is there for sex apparently. I did have a profile there for a long time, and sometimes if i was bored i'd check it, and my mailbox was always full with all kinds of sex offers, some even specify exactly what kind they want in their first message. I do not see why ANY decent girl would hang out there, unless maybe if she completely ignores anyone she doesn't know and just talks to friends.

Brad, what are the ages of these RW?  I ask because evidently such women go through stages according to what an expat told me. Maybe he was just having fun with me.  Nevertheless, this is what he told me:

Stage I is the period when a beautiful RW is 18-yo to early 20s. She has little trouble in finding a high-income RM to sponsor her. Sponsorship would include her university education.

Stage II comes when the woman reaches 30 or even 25.  She is now too old for RM Daddy Warbucks, so he has discarded her.  She now seeks short-term, escort assignments while waiting for her next, less selective sponsor.   This is when expat businessmen may step in because the expat could not afford her at Stage I.

Stage III comes when she reaches her mid-30s and her only option is to find an American to marry.    :hairraising:  These women are damaged goods in my opinion even though sponsorship is more accepted in the FSU.

IMHO there is nothing wrong with women or men looking for a one-night-stand or sponsors. They may even be good marriage material once they left this time behind them.

However of course all men and women here have kept their virginity untill marriage, and would not have anything to do with sex outside marriage, hence the reactions.

Without sarcasm, these sites are a result of changing times. Instead of going to a bar or club and picking up men/women there, people make contact over the internet for the same purpose. It shortens the time of looking for a decent and willing partner and gives more time to have fun together.

In the 70s and again in the late 90s, I never met a woman at a bar who admitted to looking for nothing more than a one night stand.  Maybe she knew that there was a 90% probability of nothing more than a one night stand, yet it was not discussed.

mamba.ru is a HUGE site, and of course there is a lot of diferent kind of people looking for diferent kind of things there. But personally I left that site pretty soon.

If you search the internet you will find most of the women who used to be prostitutes in Kiev on agency sex type sites have gone to the free sites and EM.  They deal directly with the client and do not have to pay money to a pimp type person.  I am sure there doing this in Russia as well. 

Easier contact (direct) and more money.  Plus opens there market to rich men who will fly them around the world. Also, men now use profiles to lure foreign men over and than rob them. 

Going to a marriage agency has issues but does provide more protection than free personals.  If I owned a marriage agency I would post a bunch of fake profiles on free personals and hire 1 worker just to cause problems with men playing around with free personals.  Why - give them a bad name and attract business to the marriage agencies.

Going to a agency also excludes a lot of good women. My experience is that it is easier for a woman to go take the step from a local dating site to an international dating site. Going to an agency will maybe make them feel more like an object and that will be hard for their pride.

The stories I have heard from other RW on mamba mirror yours.

However, the good news is that it is easy for a sincere WM with a well-written profile and good photos to stand out from the crowd.  Such a guy really contrasts against all the guys sending crude messages and not making a real effort.

What do you mean by free personals? If you mean a free site such as mamba then yes I met my wife using free Russian personals. As for children, we are working on it
