Can I take that as a negative? Why?

I've never used ANY agency, but from hanging around these boards over the past few years I have read over and over and over again, that Anastassia has the "hands down" worst reputation in the business, and has held that distinction for some time.

Hmmmm. Ok. I'll bite. Went there, paid for a few credits and sent out a bunch of hello notes. Got back some, sent out a more detailed letter, got back some more. No red flags so far, but it is early yet. One lady sent me her address for future use.

I see that agencies are 'translating' the letters. Almost all of the ladies are in areas I plan to visit in the next few months and I think that will be the real test. Do they show up?

Where is the bad part? What am I missing? Not trying to being stupid here, just would appreciate some answers.

Typically, the "bad part" is that a sizable percentage of letters are written by employees, without the woman ever knowing that you or your correspondence even exist.

The desire to increase profitability is great when the business model is Pay By The Letter...

Like BC and Jet, I have not used the services of an agency either, so what I say is based solely on very limited personal experience, hearsay, and the opinions of others who have been used and abused.

AWeb has a terrible reputation for less than honest dealings.  Their business model is the pattern for others who are in the "biz" only for the bucks.    For example, at the prompting of Richard's posts when he was with BeHappyNow, I signed up to browse the BeHappy site in Tver.  I was curious about how and what he was doing.   My inbox was immediately covered up with e-mails from girls between the age of 20 - 25.  The site clearly has been automated to spam any new e-mail contact with canned letters and  photos of beautiful young girls.   Naturally, to open any letter costs $5.00.  I'm absolutely sure in my mind that none of the letters were written by anyone other than the BeHappy staff scammers.

What I see happening is a wave of paranoia building to the point where the honest and sincere girls are stymied and don't have a chance to find a decent husband.  Decent guys with half a brain are not going to frequent sites like BeHappy and AWeb, rightly fearing the scam.  The only men left in the chase are the Gomers, and not many girls are going to be willing to settle for that.  Most women in the FSU already have a better lifestyle than a trailer house in the middle of No-Where, AK., and have little interest in attaching themselves to a sure loser.

Scammers and GC whores will be less picky about who they write to.

Ditto. Viking, say goodbye to your time and money when using AWeb. I read many guys going ballistic when they find out they are not writing the woman in the photo but probably some man in AWeb's office. Even if a man was able to meet a real live sincere woman using AWeb, he was probably scammed 100 times over beforehand for the other letters he opened and responded to that was sent out by employees.
