You dont need to be born in Russia to have russian citizenship, all you need is one russian parent and a birth certificate to provide to the russian consulate. And written permission of the other spouse.

All 3 of our kids were born in the US. As Aloe said, we were able to obtain Russian passports for them through the local Russian consulate. We did this so the kids could travel to Russia easily with only my wife and without the need for home-stay visitor visas -- which can take some time to obtain.

Just wanted to add an update...

My DHRW and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary last month!

The past 10 years have -- by far -- been the best of my life! I hope that others here will also enjoy the same kind of love, joy, happiness, and fulfillment that I've found with my wife and our 3 beautiful girls!

I am hoping there are many other "10 year guys" even going back to the orignal Russian Women's Guide but I imagine they do not read or post any more. Such is life. Other priorities.

Dude, I'm so glad I found your post! 10 years is awesome!

I've been with my Ukrainian wife for 5 years and so many skeptics keep waiting for her to leave (being disproportionately hotter that me). I tell them that they just do get it. They don't understand the loyalty and dedication to family that we share. I'm really glad to meet you and to be able to share more stories of success with the men I work with.

We're a small fellowship of guys who enjoy this life we have - nice to have a forum like this where we can connect.

another year has passed (so quickly, it seems!), and that makes it 11 years of marital happiness. we have built a bond that has been filled with an abundance of love, growth, and a rich, unique and interesting life. Yes -- we've had our share of struggles in our business life, but those have led to the success that we'd hoped for.

i owe so much to my lovely dhrw!

to those who are still seeking their other half, i hope you find a happiness like ours!

Mark, having seen a number of your pictures and videos together, I can tell that there is no disproportionality is the looks of you and your wife. At least in a woman's eyes. I'd say that you are a handsome man and a pretty woman. A very proportional couple, in my view.
