Student visa to come to USA

Anyone have recent experience on getting a Ukrainian citizen into the USA on a student visa.

I am not talking about a sham; rather a situation where the person will actually be pursuing a masters degree in the USA.

I remember KenC did this with his ex-wife.  She was from Russia and that was a while back.

But glad to hear from you KenC and others who have had any experience with this endeavor.

Student is family or self-supporting?

I have three students who have done this in the last 2 years and can give you some pointers/advice.
