I came across an interesting website. People rent out a place to crash for a night or 30, whether its a couch in their living room or your own room or the entire apartment/villa. Seems like a very interesting offer for a budget traveler, especially considering that a few people who offer a room also offer guided tours of their city and teaching you about their culture Not many offers in Russia (38 to be exact), but many places around the world

Interesting...though the prices seem a bit high as for $205 I can get a very comfortable hotel in Munich.
