Approaching - but not quite there. April of next year (2011) will be our 10th.

12 years.

Also friends with a AM-UW couple I believe 13+ years and another couple 10+ years.

Live next door to an AM-RW couple who met in America who lived together for a while and married last year.

Reminded me of the question: Do married men live longer than single men, or do they just feel that way?

Nice to see a few who have some years under their belts!
I'll be making it to 6 years soon, but the time has just flown by, seems like just a start.

Married in June 2000. I learned on our wedding day that my parents married the same day 50 years earlier.

As an aside. Now I understand why Kevin Bluck disappeared from the RWL. He got married.

Hi, Carlos.

Actually, I hung on at RWL for a while and even became a moderator for a time after getting married in 1998, but when our first child came along in 2000 I finally had to pack it in. Now I'm a dedicated lurker.

So you disappeared at the time I was getting married. Well, congrats with your child(ren?) We have an 8 yo boy. I'll have to tell my wife I "bumped" into you. Believe it or not, she does know who you are.  ;) Trust me, all in good fun.

Given the usual cautions of journalists who practice by the goodwill of the Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we usually don't trumpet personal info that would make id easy, but we've passed that marker only by the grace of God (and her patience.) We've marked some important milestones--kids graduating from HS, then college (one remains in University), and one married. True, its a blended family but the youngest now at MSU was in grade school when we started.
