yes very cool... Per minute rates to Ukraine are currently 10 cents for landlines (anywhere) and 15 cents for mobiles (anywhere).  I can't find reference to any kind of connection fee (though I may have missed it).  That's 3 cents lower than Skype's current rate.

Misha, Still just one day after the rollout, may take longer for Canada.  For day 1 they had over 1 million calls. 

Dave, I saw nothing about any connection fees and of course there are none for free US to Can calls.  Nice pricing for calling Russia, Sergiey Brin's discount I guess.  UA is 10 cents.

Who knows how long it will take. I am still waiting for hulu to be available in Canada

I don't really know how it compares but, my wife is paying the 12-15 bucks monthly for the Skype phone and calls freely to landlines and mobiles in Russia, all inclusive

There's no comparison to Skype. I know prior we used Nobel and it was 25-30 bucks a month. I'm happier than a pig in chit with Skype

The Skype "World" subscription shows unlimited to landlines (not mobile) in Moscow and St. Pete only. Is there another plan I missed?

Day 1 for general public.  I have had Google Voice for over a year, and its predecessor Google GrandCentral for a year before that, hacking my SunRocket VOIP device to work with it.  It has been tested by a large group for over a year.
