Apartments in Odessa

I am planning on returning to Odessa on either June 1st of 2005 or June 15th, I am wondering if any one knows of apartments around the downtown area  
(around Deribasovskaya str.) for around $40.00 aday (or cheaper).  I know this is the tourist season and prices usually go up around this time, I am looking to rent to the apartment for approximately 30 days.


The only requirements I have are the apartment be neat on the inside (they usually are) and that it has a standing shower (at 6'5" it's abit hard and inconvient to take baths) , I am not planning on spending much time in the apartment so a television and such things are not important.

Bear, most nice flats on or near Deribascka are going for around $50 to $55 a night, although ocassionaly you will find one for $45. Now the further you get from Deribascka the price will go down but I would encourage you to try to stay within about a 5-8 minute walk of Deribascka. If you stay close to Deribaska you will see a LOT of fine ladies and not just from Odessa but from all over Ukraine and a lot of Russian ladies will visit Odessa as well during the summer.

Now with you wanting a flat for a month, that will certainly lower the price to well un der $40 a day and probably closer to a range from $27 to $30 a day. All the flats that I am aware have showers that will work for you. We have about 12-15 fine flats that we rent out on or close to Deribascka. Feel free to pm me.

anyone know where to look for a great deal on a flat for THREE months in kiev? (9 march-8june)

all i need is a one room with a real bed, constant hot water, kitchen with the things you need to live there, washing machine or laundry service, decent shower. something clean and nice enough for two in case i invite a lady to stay with me from time to time. an iron and board would be nice. walking distance to khreshatick would be ideal.
