Thanks , Nice trip report X-man!
and the photos are very cool.

I've taken similar - no writing ,no expectation trip.
I think most guys should do that initially, just to get their feet wet,
and have a basis for future expectation..and an understanding of the culture and the particular  situation they are contemplating getting involved in.
but believe most wont, as it's too tempting to at least have something lined up.(understandably)

Your report seems to outline exactly what i think happens when two people just *click*
(and sometimes for no real obvious reasons)

Good you were open to the opportunity!!
(some men stick so stricklty to their checklists ,that it limits any chance of success, life is seldom that clearly defined)

:)

it seems you mentioned translation and some misunderstanding one day (completely normal)

How well can you communicate directly?
if even a little , i'd certainly be burning up the phone or skype lines,, as your mutual communication (both languages) would build very quickly with daily interaction.

Good luck!

We can communicate in a somewhat limited fashion.  text messaging thus far.  Hoping for Skype Session Saturday (first possible time due to work/time differnce issues).

Thanks AJ.  Been trying to not get overly optimistic, but something feels right about this.
I am wondering how I can possibly wait until Christmas holidays to travel.  Not sure that I can come up with an alternative, but it seems far too long.  I find myself thinking about her constantly, and it's rather distracting.

Great report X-man, very well written.

Thank you, Sir.
Appreciate it.

Great TR XMan.
The pictures you took are fantastic!
Chernovtsy looks like a very interesting city.
Strange coincidence, BUT....Those are almost the same exact words that my wife wrote to me? (I wait for you Rick).
And also coincidentally I revisited her during the Christmas/New Year holidays (very damn cold in Siberia).
I wish you the best of luck XMan.
