Sweet! I never had a little girl, but from my experience with my Russian stepchild, girls are precious. And it is fun making them feel like a princess.

Gator:) Absolutely not!:) As a mother of a boy I declare that they are as precious as the girls:) In any way it does not make any difference as of what sex is a child at all, they are all little princesses and princes!

I raised two boys, and my sons are still close - my greatest source of joy. Yes indeed, boys have their special moments. What age is your tyke?

We're home now and everyone is well. I'm off work until after the 4th so it's just the three of us, we've finally achieved that staple of RW dating profile goals: having a "cozy home."

GQ, that's a little clamp for her umbilical cord, which should fall off in a few days.

I know I'm biased, but she's adorable enough to melt even the most cynical soul.

My MIL stayed with us for 2 weeks after I returned to work, which was a big help. (No problem getting her 2nd visa.) We convinced mom to start learning English, even though we plan to have our daughter learn Russian from a very young age, so that she can be an important part of her life.
