Cheers for the Freudian analysis there Dave.

LoL.. yeah, and I'm sure it was somehow related to my mother..

Let my try another way... take it or leave it.. ignore it.. whatever... What I am getting at here is.... where the hell is the passion?  the raw emotion? -- The "GOD I want her/him" -- "happy" or "sad" doesn't really cut it. Maybe, just maybe,  acting a little weird, jumping in the bed and pulling the covers over her head could have been a little game she was playing with you as part of the chase sequence?  What we would call "drama" plays a pretty big and sometimes I'd say even critical role in the process of an RW... I often relate it to almost teenage craziness... perhaps she wanted you to jump on the bed, make animal noises, and kiss her passionately rather than cook dinner.  ;D  Um, just a thought to ponder.  YOU just may have had strange and bizarre behavior in HER eyes..  "I jumped into the bed, tempted him, and this guy wants to COOK something other than me!"  You control her responses more than you may think you do.

here is her friends' description from your post:

While there in Adler I found out from her friends there who I am in regular communication with that when they asked her about me she replied that I was a really good man who helped her anytime no matter what and that he was taking me to Egypt of which she was really looking forward.

Do you not think there should at least be at little something else sprinkled in there? This "good man" thing and "helping her out" is way overrated in the big picture. Sure, being reliable is important to any woman, but is that all there is? If so, you might want to at least think about taking action which triggers a response as opposed to passively waiting on continental drift to get you there (or for her to do something with "the ball".  ;D

Plus, a "let's see what happens" attitude doesn't really wash... nothing will ever happen unless you make it happen.. These women are not going to chase you, or even meet you half way in the same manner a western woman might. They expect to BE chased.  Be a freakin' animal, growl and snort, swing from a vine grab her around the waist and carry her off to your jungle tree house. It's a game that shows you WANT her... and she'll sure as hell respond to it...though I can't promise it will inevitably be the desired response.  :D

This post contains actual excerpts from my book entitled "The Mating Game, a Retrospective Glimpse from the Asylum".   ;D

... but none has hit me as hard as this one.

:( another good song on the radio. It really have nothing to do with heartache, matter of fact it has nothing with much of anything, but I know you'll find a way to relate and be sad all over again.

...Just as one opinion, worth the value of precisely what you paid for it, this woman doesn't have feelings for you in a way which would lead to a fulfilling relationship. ..

LOL, don't let little trivial detail get in the way of logic. Hallmark cards will run out of business. Where the OP erred is he didn't make sure she somehow stayed unemployed, or found a way to get her juice bar career back. That way, he would have remained in her thoughts all the time.

Heh.. DARN... I missed the blast from the past...

So presumptuous of it... the audacity of it all.. but at least I am glad to know the country is MINE... though which one still seems to be of some confusion. Once we figure that one out, I'll throw bash with my tax revenues, everyone is invited.
