Hello to everyone on RWD. This site is definitely something I've been seeking out for some time now.

My story:

My name is Tom, I hail from Chicago. A little over a year ago I had my first taste of a foreign woman, a Russian woman. It was more addicting than pure Columbian cocaine  . Tragically, things didn't work out with her but she definitely helped me realize something. The old prase "opposites attract" is true. The appeal of someone from a foreign culture is quite strong/intriguing/mysterious...attractive. It's what attracted her to me and me to her. I've since found the culture of Eastern Europe most appealing.

I date a lot of American women fairly regularly and the interest is no longer there. I figured living in a large city would make it easy for me to find foreign women locally. However, Chicago seems to be an exception whereas NYC, DC and LA have a lot more foreign.

Thus, here I am. Searching endlessly for more information on how to perform a successful search. I've lost interest in Anastasia, Elena's Models, etc. as they are quite similar to 'hookup' sites in the US and it doesn't take long to discover that all the profiles are either scams or women with dozens if not hundreds of men to choose from. I hear the success stories and find myself wondering if there isn't a better way.

There's actually quite a large Russian/Ukrainian community in Chicago. The Russians are kind of spread around but if you check out bomond.com you should be able to find a lot of local events. Most of the site is in Russian but if you click on "English" in the upper left side of the page you might find something.

Hello Clutch. The pursuit of a FSU woman takes money, time, extra effort, perserverance, faith and luck.  By browsing this forum and others online, you will have much first hand experience and information, good and bad advice.  

It can be done and I have to admit I reached a very burned out point in my search, but I did find the lady for me this year.  I found her in what is considered the worst scam site on the internet, Anastasia.  There are genuine and decent women to be found everywhere. I just had a system I worked and it paid off.  So I know it can be done.  I met many good decent genuine women from several agency websites that are considered scam artists havens.  It isn't easy and it takes work, perserverance and consistency, but you can do it. I did and I am older than you by a large gap, not nearly as nice and youthful looking and weigh more than I should. I'm not "rich" either.

You can find people who will help you find her on this and other forums.  They will help you "in country" without going the agency route if you choose.  Check out the service providers threads to find some of them.  The "scenary" and the experiences are addicting and they are legal addictions.

It is an adventure and it cannot be rushed; just be methodical and let it flow.  You can do it if you really want to do it and it is truly worth the effort when you find her.  You have to "stay in the hunt" sometimes when you don't really feel like it and then all of of sudden you find one or even several that inspire you.  Remember when you lose one, there are dozens (TRULY) waiting to meet you.  Take the trip to meet the best of them and you will come back a changed man.  What you will see and experience you will never forget. More than likely you will be chomping at the bit to go back as soon as possible.  The quantity, quality and feminine attributes of these FSU women cannot be surpassed.

I have discovered that there is a large? (I'd label the Polish community large) Russian/Ukrainian community here in Chicago. Unfortunately, my experiences thus far have lead me to a somewhat exclusive community that doesn't always welcome outsiders, especially those that don't speak fluent Russian. Most of the Russians are up in Highland Park and at least appear to be quite reclusive. Ukranian Village is on my radar though. In time.

Thanks for all the links and info guys, seriously. I've only started poking around the forums here and discovering that I have a lot of reading and research to do. I like it. I like having an action plan or a strategy to follow based on good information from this community. It's a lot better than learning the hard way. I'm fascinated that such a community exists and very greatful that there are so many of you who have already successfully found your partner and still contribute. You're a sign that this endeavor can truly be rewarding.

Pretty nuts to find out there are so many people as out of their mind as myself!

There are also many Russians in Skokie, Buffalo Grove and Wheeling. But many of them are married and I am not sure how to meet the singles.

I live in ther Chicago area was well.
 There are a lot of Russians and Ukrainians in Chicago for sure.One thing to keep in mind culturally is the  FSU,
the former countries , include more than a bit of easrtern europe,,
so there are quite a few Latvian,Lithuianian, etc etc in Chicago as well.
One Lithuinian restuarant has a meet and greet night for singles each thursday  i believe? for example..
(and most speak english lithiunian and russian)
There are probably many small things like that to research..

I wouldnt exclude the very large polish community,if your taste is european or eastern european culturally,
while different it is still many of the same qualities, way of thinking, sense of humor..*generally*
