Which is what I have heard/read somewhere also Maxx2.

So our wonder boy (with his previous abuse track record) will get thrown into jail immediately when the new Mrs. arrives and calls the police with her and her daughters new abuse accusations.

It usually doesn't pay to try and "sneak" around the system, but some mules never learn.

GOB

GOB, there has been nothing in Wayne's posts to indicate his wife has ill intentions or that he is being played for the same sucker he was in the situation with his ex-wife. Just as a matter of courtesy IMO, you should extend him that latitude. After his first foray what do you expect him to do, crawl into a hole and die? Hopefully, he learned some lessons the first time around. Disparaging indirectly on his current wife isn't really necessary, is it?

Everybody doesn't "get it" the first time around and granted some never "get it" but, cut him some slack here man. He's received his lumps and piling on at this juncture doesn't help any newbies.

I agree. I reviewed the history [something that can take some time otherwise] and realized that there is a coincidence here in two sets
of Russian mothers and daughters.

Albeit rather puzzling.

I can see all the points there but it doesn't help to take these matters personally.

Yes David, your explainition is correct. Also, with a K-3 you have the extra charges for adjustment of status, additinal medical exams, fingerprinting, ect. The extra costs could be a few thousand dollars for two people.

Unless I am misinformed, the K3 requires no AoS or the rest, as it accompanies the I130 application.

Perhaps you meant to contrast it with the K1, which does require those things?

After what FP wrote, I was going to let go of this thread, BUT.....since you decided to stick your nose in here Vaughn I will repeat what I said up-thread in case there are any NEWBIES or LURKERS reading this.

i might ask you to clarify why you feel his current situation might be the same , or different?
someone with an ounce of common courtesy would.

Or do you contend that all men ,and women, are doomed to always make  the same mistakes,
and  have the same motivations?

Since GOB (aka Lazarus) has Wayne all figured out - I thought he'd have the courage to answer
AJ's very fair question....  but I guess not. He's prone to preaching doom and gloom.

Don't be a dumba*s like the OP.

Well there we have it - judge, jury and executioner - who likely knows nothing about Wayne's
current situation - just his past misfortune. GOB - seriously - if you could offer us *anything*
of substance, go ahead - or will you duck & hide under a veil that reads "I opt not to violate
Wayne's privacy..." ?

Anybody who goes back and reads Wayne's World can pretty much figure out that he is a dumba*s (unless they are a dumba*s also) and yes Vaughn/AJ in Wayne's case sadly history will repeat itself over and over again.

But I guess some people like you Vaughn have to be in the rah-rah section. :rolleyes2:

I really don't give a flip about the rah-rah section.
I just don't want some newbie coming along and believing any of the OP's crap.

You seem to do a lot of guessing, GoodOlBoy...

If you'd actually take the time to read the archives, I've been very consistent with advising
caution, discernment and patience. I do admit I'm not familiar with your black & white world.

yes Vaughn/AJ in Wayne's case sadly history will repeat itself over and over again.

I'm still waiting for the substance you seem reluctant (or unable) to offer.

I just don't want some newbie coming along and believing any of the OP's crap.

Is that a reference to Wayne - or Lazarus... ?

GOB,

AJ asked an excellent question.
Quote
Or do you contend that all men ,and women, are doomed to always make  the same mistakes,
and  have the same motivations?

You were a gunny sergeant.  If you were taking a platoon into combat, I understand that you would not want a point man who walked like an elephant in the jungle, or who proved he has no sense of direction.  Nor would you want a radioman who panicked and hid during the last firefight.  Or a sergeant who did not get his squad into position for a coordinated assault.  Etc., etc. etc.  I could understand your strong insistence in not giving these men a second chance because if they repeated the failure it could risk the lives of other men, maybe the platoon.

In Wayne's case, we don't know that he is full of crap.  We don't know that he is making the same mistake.  And if he did, it is his life and does not affect others.  What specifically wrong would a newbie learn from wayne's posts in this thread?

If you have your doubts about Wayne, I believe a better approach would have been to ask him what he is doing differently this time.  Without more information, you can not assume he is getting fitted for a harness complete with bridle, reins and collar.

This thread is about getting visas.  How about sticking to that?

Years ago, if you married in another country, you had to wait at least one year or longer for the visa approval.

Then, govenment came up with the idea of the K-3/K-4 visas so you family could be together sooner while you were still waiting for the immigrant visa CR-1/CR-2.

Now, they have started processing the immigrant visas for spouse/child seperate from the other immigrant visas. You mail it to a different address and you do not have the extremely long wait time for approval.

It made no seen to me to file for the k-3!  You still have to file the I130 and pay all the fees for that. If the CR is approved first, you have just wasted a lot of time and money on the K visa that gets tossed out!
All K visas are nonimmigrant; you must go through all the extra steps and fees K-1 or K-3.
In my city, there is only one Civil Surgeon Doctor. He does not accept insurance! His charges for vaccinations are way, way, way out of line!  The next closest Civil Surgeon is 160 miles away!
It is a 5 hour road trip, each way, to the nearest USCIS office. You have to make at least two trips; one for the finger printing and another for the interview.
If you  have a early morning interview, you would have to staqy in a motel.
